Quite a small airport in Kuala Terengganu… Really love the Water feature they have at the airport! Really loved the design of the airport as well! To tell you the truth, the restrooms now there have been renovated and the place is better now!!!! Also, usually these small airports only have domestic flights but this airport is special because it has an international flights! However, it only goes to one location which is in Saudi Arabia where the Mecca is is located but very few it would come to the departure flights… so usually that place is closed and no one is over there. Have 2 floors of this place!!! ?
P.S. There is another water feature just outside the airport near the carpark.?
The airport is an example of a typical structure built using public funds here in Terengganu. The design is beautiful with Terengganu elements heavily used. However, when you get closer, you notice the neglect and indifference by those in the management team. The interior seems darker than many modern airports. It doesn’t feel comfortable waiting for anyone here.
Nice architecture. Not crowded. Only a few airlines using the airport – Malaysia Airlines, Air Asia, Firefly, Malindo. A few restaurants where one can have some food and a cup of coffee/tea. Can get some chocolates from WHSmith. Can get kepropok, a native product of Terengganu.
The architecture is nice. Airport is quite small with both domestic and internal flights. No self service terminal here except for Air Asia. The rest still queue up to check in.
Complimentary Wifi upon arrival/departure hall.
Very spacious space at the check in gate.
Level GF(arrival hall), cafeteria that provide local and western food at affordable price.
Departure hall, got Coway and mini muslim prayer hall.
Support local products.
Very convenient.
Toilet, a bit dirty. Need to do major renovation.
