a week agoAvoid the shop at all cost please. My spouse went there for key duplication. Quoted $28 for just a normal HDB gate key, citing reason such as the key is an old type. Whereas the flats in Punggol aren’t even old to start with. Charges over $140 just for four set of keys. Reminds me of those Sim Lim operators. Daylight robbery for sure. Didn’t provide receipt as well. Poor business ethics.a week agoOn January 9th at 2:30 pm, I went to the shop and inquired about the cost of both gluing and stitching my shoe. Initially, I was quoted $50 for both services but I asked whether only gluing was cheaper. He informed me it would cost $30 for just gluing. After discussing with my daughter, we decided to opt for both stitching and gluing services, considering the value over just gluing, which we could easily do ourselves.However, when I handed over the shoes, the staff abruptly turned rude, snatching the shoes and stating they could only stitch with white thread, not gold, in a sarcastic tone, suggesting I could do it myself since I had glue. This abrupt change in behavior caught me off guard, and thereafter, the staff avoided making eye contact while responding to my inquiries.
I’m disappointed by this lack of basic service etiquette displayed by your staff. I’m not questioning their skills or the quoted price, but rather their behavior as a service provider.

a week agoThe service was awful. I visited to get my door key duplicated, but it was done hastily in under a minute without proper inspection. Unfortunately, the key didn’t work, and when I went back to fix it, the staff showed little concern. He only made a minor adjustment, which ended up making the it worse. To top it off, I had to pay three times the usual price.3 weeks agoFriendly and good service. Had my fav black leather shoes fixed with new soles and was even nicely polished and interior was also patched up. Awesome like new shoes new life!!2 weeks agoAvoid at all costs. Shop practices dirty business tactics. When first consullted, shop assistant will quote you super high price. Certainly 3 times more than other shop and almost same price as pric3 of the shoe. When declined he will ask you whats your budget. After agreeing on reasonable amt he will say he will do according to budget which is ridiculous for a shoe repair. Upon collection shoe has glue marks. They will refuse to remove saying alresdy tried but stain presisted. But…he will ask u to buy his leather cleaner to remove. These guys belongs in simlim n not in reputable malls for sure.

Called in to help unlock a door as I was locked out of my room. Very responsive after I sent my address. Needed to wait quite a while but I was not in the rush so it was alright. The locksmith was very polite and also apologised for being late. The door unlocked in less than 5 minutes and told me that I could call back if there are any problems with the lock. He even gave me some advice for digital locks. Highly recommend.
Got lock outside the house.. Called in to help unlock a door. Very responsive after I sent my address. Waited about 20 mins. The locksmith was very polite’and friendly. Kept reassuring not to worry. Tough lock took almost 1.5 hours.. they decided to take another alternative. finally able to get into the house.. that’s the most important to me! phew! good job guys!
Truely agree that Tang is a reliable and responsible locksmith. Called him as we were locked out. He came ard 20min aft my call. Very calming and assuring to my elderly mum and instead of hacking the door, he went down n get more equipment to open the door. Thank you! Merry Xmas, my angel!
