  1. Got arrested more than a decade ago when I was 14 years old for some domestic violence incident.

Regardless, officers were more concerned about the injuries sustained on me instead of the chopper on my hands. Regardless, they had to handcuff me due to protocol even though I’m already very calm.

Handcuff procedures were very gentle and officers were nice. Been brought to the police station for futher questioning but it felt more like a “get to know u” session.

My prison cell for the next couple of hours were roomy and spacious. It is clean and neat as well. Though there are no mattress or pillow to sleep on, ventilation was of superb quality. The night air felt great.

4/5 would wish to get arrested again.

  2. Framed for a case of cheating of $50 which I was the victim. They froze my main bank account without even clarifying the facts. I even went down to give statement and provide all the screenshot evidence to prove my innocence.

My bank account now frozen for over 2.5 months, when call IO they just keep delaying and giving excuse. This system gives way too much power to the complainant. Never even get facts straight then happy happy go freeze defendant’s life savings, and then take their own sweet time to expedite the case.

My impression of SPF will never be the same again. Just a group of bullies that will not hesitate to abuse powers given to them.

Update (October 2020): They finally unfroze my bank after 3 months+.
Word to the wise: keep multiple bank accounts incase you accidentally get caught in the crossfire of some silly microtransactions gone wrong. You never know when they might freeze an account of yours with all your money in it over a $50 dispute which you weren’t even involved in.

  3. SG Police, you’ve got to earn the respect, and not demand for it. Don’t stain the uniform and it’s reputation if you are not even up to basic standard. Horrible SC who sounds so slack and not alert for just a phone call for make a police report on noisy neighbor in the middle of the night.

  4. I was told by SIO Ganesh for interview after myself get scammed. The agreed timing is 2 pm but wait untill 3 pm and did not have the talk so left already.

(Update) I finally was able to speak with Ganesh..The statement taken is swift – wish they would be able to retrieve funds in my POSB account soon as heard that a small portion of funds in my account come from victims that scammer taken from others as bait to scam me.

Ang Mo Kio HQ so far is better than other HQ that I met before. Clementi Division HQ does not care about my Singapore Polytechnic intern appeal but support my teachers on her harassment report (2014) and Bedok HQ does not care about I punch by Malay guy in chest (2018).

  5. Do the police work during public holidays? (This is a sarcastic remark)

I’ve been trying to reach an open line via their hotline for the past half an hour, ringing this division HQ continuously, to no avail.

I sent an online police report with the prompt that a copy of the report has been sent to me. No such email for the past 4 hours.

What is going on with the administrative processes in the police force?
