7 months agoHere’s the homegrown coffee chain that has spread all over Malaysia so quickly. It’s almost impossible not to find a Zus coffee in almost every shopping centre and even in small towns outside of the major capital cities in the country. The familiar blue coloured logo with a drawing of the God of Thunder, Zeus can be seen almost everywhere, rivalling the other green coloured mermaid.This outlet at Megah Rise features outdoor seating as well, and has the usual offerings as any other Zus coffee outlets. The pastries on sale here, however, don’t look too promising. Honestly, I have not tried the pastries so I won’t comment too much on how good it is.
Prices at Zus are cheaper than the other premium coffee establishments, and that drives more people to flock to it. Also, make sure you have the Zus app on your phone as it makes it easier to pre-order your drink for pick up when you take away.

Seating arrangement is good with some fancy chairs.
Apart from coffee, I noticed that they are selling packaged juice from their own brand.
2 months agoToo slow service. Don’t bother if you want to drop by and grab a cup. Waited a long time. My family could have their Hainan coffee and toast ordered, served, and eaten at the shop farther down. Zus was still fulfilling delivery service. App is buggy. Feedback to them but instead of apologizing, they make you feel like it was an user issue rather than app bugs. First and last time. Overrated coffee. I regretted downloading your app and creating an account. This is my formal request that you delete all my personal data that you’ve collected. I withdraw my consent.8 months agoVery much in the mold of the other larger (international) coffee chains, this branch of ZUS for the Megan Rise follows the layout and design template of the other outlets around the nation. Which, is a good thing actually for regulars to their outlets since it offers a pseudo sense of familiarity and comfort.And yes, the coffee served here is comforting indeed using their proprietary roast. You can’t escape that hint of arabica smokiness from their espresso based lattes or flat whites. There’s a myraid of pastries on counter. The sandwiches are decent but nothing to shout about. A good place to refresh yourself if you’ve been grocery shopping downstairs at the supermarket and need a quick break before heading elsewhere. Recommended all the same.
a year agoUp & coming coffee player, opening their latest outlet at the Megah Rise Mall, which recently opened on 18 Dec 2022. Zues has similarities like Starbucks, but the process is a little cheaper.Again, this will appeal to the younger generation of coffee & cafe lovers, which is the one who enjoys paying RM10+ for a cup of coffee. They have cakes and pastries as well here.

Always a ZUS coffee fan. Parking can be hard to get at this area. But for pickup, you can just double park and collect your drink in front of the store.
I liked this branch so far… because each time I go is quiet and service is fast. Quite clean too. But I bumped into some weird patron, who just came in and drink his lime juice in one of the days

Am surprised with the strawberry cheesecake, tasted just right.
Coffee not too bad.
Maybe just a tad too white relating with to the interior 😜.
