  1. An interesting airport that serves only two airlines. Enjoy walking onto the apron to board the plane.

The airport has one souvenir shop that sells mostly local cookies and foodstuff and a car rental office.

One glance to see the lobby, the Ticketing area, Check in counter and the boarding gates.

    Nice and cosy.

  2. This is a small, simple airport primarily serving domestic flights, with a few flights from neighboring countries. Unfortunately, the only cafe in the departure hall has been closed since the pandemic. If you have a lengthy preflight wait, it’s advisable to bring your own food and beverages.

  3. A reasonably clean and effective airport. There isn’t an airbridge, after stepping off the aircraft, it’s only a short walk to the immigration building.

As I wait for immigration clearance, I see that travellers are only allowed to bring a month’s worth of medication and cosmetics, or else they risk being fined. For further details, kindly refer to the photo that is attached.

  4. A tiny regional airport with check-in counters, arrival, and departure in one building.

Not enough seats for passengers to wait during the usual flight delays. Don’t even think of charging any devices here.

Amazingly, the men’s toilet has toilet paper. This alone deserves one star on its own.

  5. Close to Ipoh city. Best airport location. And now as at end Dec 2023 there is dinning options here too . Previously there was one, but that closed due to COVID-19

As a rarely used airport there a lot of activity can do here. Bring your kids playing kite, rc plane and stuff, ride bicycle. Sometime helicopter, small aeroplane, parachute do some training stuff. Kids enjoy watch those too.

It is an abandoned airport. The military now use it for parachutes training which attracts crowds. Opposite the field there are few food stalls which sells delicious food. Most popular are laksa and Milo kepal. Locals use the fields for all sort of activities such as kite flying, remote airplanes and helicopters practice.#localguides
