a week agoOutstanding airport with unique features and lots of shops available.It was also surprisingly quiet, I never felt the usual airport hustle… Great for a stop over.
3 weeks agoSingapore is an amazing place to visit. I went on the “Singapore wheel ” which is taller than the London Eye and overlooked the F1 circuit. The merlion fountain, the ship that’s ” balanced ” on three skyscrapers, a sight to see, the gardens by the bay, another attraction. Raffles and the ” Singapore sling ” cocktail, all amazing.a week agoAmazing airport . Super easy emigration either way electronic passports . Make sure you fill in the form before entering in Singapore. Cute art and places to relax . Good restaurants and shops. People are useful. Internet ? everywhere for free . Good restrooms . Children areas .a week agoThe best airport definitely. It will take 50 years for any US airports to catch up with Changi. Unique attractions like greenery, orchids, attached mall, food joints, waterfall make it a wonderful place to visit (even if you don’t want to catch a flight). The immigration takes unbelievably 1 minute!!!!!! Baggage’s are already there when you arrive near the belt. The list goes on. Excellent place to hang out.a week agoA beautiful airport, as I am sure most are aware. If it’s your first time coming to Singapore then the view as you arrive is amazing, with all the ships in the marina and clean cut greenery. Plenty of toilets and shops within the airport. Clear signs, so super easy to get around.

a year agoTengah Air Base is a Protected Place under PAPPA (Chapter 256).DO NOT drive in with any non-removeable In-Vehicle Recording Device (aka Dashcam), otherwise you risk being charged/denied entry.
Disconnect and remove all Dashcam and deposit them in the Pass Office.
Life is simple if you ask the Pass Office nicely about the rules.
7 months agoDimwit CO allows his pilots to fly their jets at full blast across Jurong residential area affecting residents and INFANTS!a year agoFor choosing to withdraw the deferment that I was entitled to (still on probation at a new job) in support of the camp’s KPI goal of maximum reservist turnout by attending this final In-Camp Training (ICT) that I could have skipped and avoided, I was rewarded by being unfairly charged for the very first time ever and punished for essentially not having psychic powers to know that it is even an offence to only ALMOST enter camp with a DISABLED AND COVERED in-vehicle camera (IVC) because I was on my way to actually attend the briefing where this rule was to be covered in-depth for 20-30 minutes:1) The SMS stated vaguely to “not bring in any camera enabled devices even your in car camera”. 2) It was not even indicated on the SAF100. 3) My previous ICT was 13 years ago (in 2006). 4) Nevertheless I decided to leave my iPhone at home. 5) But my IVC could not be removed without risking damage to the windscreen, so I not only disabled it by unplugging the wires but also used a pouch to enclose it. 6) When the RP asked what was inside, I answered candidly and he stopped my car, so I did not even drive into base. 7) As a result, I missed the initial half of the briefing where my buddy said this rule was covered in-depth for 20-30 minutes.

Not crowded. Relaxing airport with no queue. There’s only Firefly to Subang airport and back.
Just need to check-in 30mins before flight. Unlike Changi which asks you to be there 2hrs before flight departure.
As for food, only has Mr Teh Tarik Express
Pleasantly surprised when I landed at Seletar. Clean, well-maintained, bright and cheerful secondary airport. Modern clean deco, with nice greenery around the seating area makes waiting a cheerful experience.
The staff were courteous,
professional and efficient (not suprised but so contrasting) and they helped make my flight experience more pleasant.
GST refunds can be made here too.
The only negative would be the lack of retail therapy, which for me is refreshing ?
Recommended.
What a gem this airport is. Makes airport travel a real joy. Clean couches and the most amazing team working there from the check-in counters to the passport checking team, especially the team doing security checks. I always wonder why other airports can’t do what they do here. Travelling does not have to mean having to deal with stern looking faces and bad service. Well done to the amazing team in Seletar. Time travel 2pm, 29 Oct 2023. Departing SG.
Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, there is no other reason than to come here to fly or just chill at the lobby. The Mr Tea Tarik here is a bit of an upcharge. The airport feels rustic. Clean and simple. Very quiet most of the time. Checking in and boarding is just like changi, just that it’s faster and less waiting time.
This is very small airport for private jets and firefly airlines only.
It has two halls one for departure and one for arrival. Both have some sofas to take rest if someone arrive early.
Food cafe
One cafe is there in departure hall, food is not expensive as other airport. Here you will get coffee, tea and other chicken and sandwich option. Vegetarian people can opt for butter toast.
Currency Exchange
There is one currency exchange machine that gives you SGD in case you are carrying foreign currencies but paper currency only. They do no accept coins.
Snacks Dispenser
The airport also has one dispenser machine for snacks, I tried to use but it didn’t accept my SGD 2 note.
Connection
If anyone plans for the airport please plan by cab or plan early because this airport is not connected by any metro. Purple lines comes close to the metro but again then have to change to taxi.
Boarding and Check in
They have 3 counters running, enough for a small aircraft. Scanning machines are installed for body scanning and passport scanning so no long que for check in.
Tax Refund
This airport also has one tax refund machine. So you can let go your worries for tax refund at this small airport.
