Food cafe
One cafe is there in departure hall, food is not expensive as other airport. Here you will get coffee, tea and other chicken and sandwich option. Vegetarian people can opt for butter toast.
Currency Exchange
There is one currency exchange machine that gives you SGD in case you are carrying foreign currencies but paper currency only. They do no accept coins.
Snacks Dispenser
The airport also has one dispenser machine for snacks, I tried to use but it didn’t accept my SGD 2 note.
Connection
If anyone plans for the airport please plan by cab or plan early because this airport is not connected by any metro. Purple lines comes close to the metro but again then have to change to taxi.
Boarding and Check in
They have 3 counters running, enough for a small aircraft. Scanning machines are installed for body scanning and passport scanning so no long que for check in.
Tax Refund
This airport also has one tax refund machine. So you can let go your worries for tax refund at this small airport.
Singapore is an amazing place to visit. I went on the “Singapore wheel ” which is taller than the London Eye and overlooked the F1 circuit. The merlion fountain, the ship that’s ” balanced ” on three skyscrapers, a sight to see, the gardens by the bay, another attraction. Raffles and the ” Singapore sling ” cocktail, all amazing.
Outstanding airport with unique features and lots of shops available.
It was also surprisingly quiet, I never felt the usual airport hustle… Great for a stop over.
The best airport definitely. It will take 50 years for any US airports to catch up with Changi. Unique attractions like greenery, orchids, attached mall, food joints, waterfall make it a wonderful place to visit (even if you don’t want to catch a flight). The immigration takes unbelievably 1 minute!!!!!! Baggage’s are already there when you arrive near the belt. The list goes on. Excellent place to hang out.
Amazing airport . Super easy emigration either way electronic passports . Make sure you fill in the form before entering in Singapore. Cute art and places to relax . Good restaurants and shops. People are useful. Internet ? everywhere for free . Good restrooms . Children areas .
A beautiful airport, as I am sure most are aware. If it’s your first time coming to Singapore then the view as you arrive is amazing, with all the ships in the marina and clean cut greenery. Plenty of toilets and shops within the airport. Clear signs, so super easy to get around.
