First staff directed me to the wrong (pharmacy) counter. Which was fine. It happens. The 2nd and more horrible encounter came from the main cashier.
When asked where to get it, she directed me to a shelf in front of the cashier. So I went over to have a look.
In less than 2 seconds, the lady felt the need to shout over the counter in her filipino accent at me for not immediately seeing the item. In front of all the other customers and fellow staff.
I’ll say it upfront – I’m not disabled. I can manage, and I understand English. Even if at first glance I don’t see it, I can look my way around that same shelf, on every side, at every angle. Give me at least 10 seconds before shouting at me, I can manage, I didn’t request for any further assistance.
I don’t understand what she was upset about.
Obviously I did not retort back. You can review the CCTV footage at 1345hrs today. (14 Apr 23).
To say my encounter with her was less than pleasant is an understatement. This is a wellness shop, not a military camp.
Good
The cashier very unfriendly and rude, there is only one in queue in front of me but she asking me go to other counter for payment
Asking her some items, simply pointing somewhere but giving me wrong information.
Moreover it’s not crowded when I’m asking.
Cashier should be more helpful and polite.
If not very sure please don’t anyhow give directions
Mrs Lim -very gracious , good service technique very helpful , thank you very much , keep up THE good Work ?
