Extremely disappointed with the Chicken Chop we ordered while having to wait somewhere around 40-45mins. I remembered some years ago they had a campaign boasting about how good their chicken chop is and if you didn’t like it, there’s money-back guarantee or something. I can see why that isn’t a thing anymore.

The chicken and chips were quite burnt. I figure they wanted to fry it fast on high heat but how did they get the meat to cook with that method? By slicing the chicken open and frying in fast high heat method. This dried out the meat while the meat also absorbed a tonne of cooking oil. I went during lunch peak period but if anyone says this is because it’s peak, it’s not a justifiable excuse. The amount of batter used on the chicken was a bit too much that the batter didn’t even cook through. The chicken seems a lot smaller now too. You’d think by now, after being in business for so many years, they’d figure out peak service hours.

Cakes delight with their diverse options, and the overall menu boasts delicious food. Additionally, the coffee is enjoyable, though it would be even better if it were more affordable. Saturday morning with good crowd hence having staffing issue , it seems staff were very busy. They tried their best to give good services

You will be greeted by the delightful smell of eucalyptus and from there on….you will be drawn right in! On your left there will be cakes and pastries beautifully displayed to entice you with… While on your right would be the dining area which looks just as comfy. There were hits and misses with the food; the Brunch Beef Ramen(dry) was good and tasty but the Chicken Rice was a slight disappointment as the fried chicken was cold when served. Would still be back to try the rest from the menu which by the way, they have 3 sets of menu catering for brunch, lunch and dinner…

The deco and atmosphere in December is festive and jolly. The staff were friendly and food was delivered swiftly (we ordered in advance for a company dinner). Now the main part: food was average at best. Tried their seared duck pasta (a little spicy), their beef Bolognese (taste normal hence disappointing for an upscale place) and pulled beef burger (pretty good ). Price is expensive to match their vibe.

    1. Many great selection of food and it’s cheap! I had a big portion of nasi kambing with vege from the Indian food shop and it cost only RM10. Most mamak would charge easily RM15-18 the moment you take Kambing.

I ordered teh C ping and it was rocking. It’s not diluted and has a bit of the Thai tea taste.

Will definitely return to try other food.

    2. My go to place for lunches or dinners. My review may be biased as it is very close to my house, however, this restaurant is definitely one to check out as it is very good! Wide selection of food to choose from as it is a food court set up, I’ve tasted almost everything and food is generally good. I’m recommending those I’ve tried and are very good. You will see a lot of pets here as it is a pet friendly restaurant!

    3. Been here for many times. There’s many stores now. Drinks are ok. Tried chicken shredded noodle, curry mee, western food, chicken rice, fishball noodles, pork noodles, dim sum and fried kuew teow. Not bad. Curry/Assam fish us good too. Will be crowded lunch hour. Have to wait to be seated.

    4. Oyster mee sua, gai see hor fun, cham C are damn good. But the clay pot yee mee (from pan mee stall) was the worst I had in my entire life – The Ikan bilis already masuk angin and can’t even chew it, it’s like having bones in my food at every bite. Informed the staff but he didn’t understand what I was saying.

    5. Lots of variety.

Avoid the cheong fun stall – mediocre tasting sauces, watered down sweet sauce and curry, dishonest – charged me for items I didn’t order.
