a week agoStaff/Owner are super friendly! Didn’t have cash to pay but the staff kindly allowed me to use paylah!transfer for the meal and she took cash out of her own wallet to cover the cost. Food is reasonably priced as well!! However do bring cash for your visits here 🙂 cheers! ?a week agoDecent economical beehoon. Like the chicken wing, not too deep fried but tastily marinaded.Chilli is so-so. Service was quick and ok. Not as bad as people say!
4 months agoBee Hoon is very good. Chilli is very good. The rest. Normal.Had been eating from the stall for over 20 years. The notoriously cold and impatient Ah Lian had long gone but it seemed like there is some pride or sort in holding up the ‘bad service’ reputation.
Price for a plate of economical bee hoon is not getting economical.
6 months agoAlways heard about the hype about ah Lian bee Hoon. Finally got to try it and I love it! The bee Hoon has unique wok hey burnt taste. Bee hoon given was just the right portion. The rest of the ingredient is just soso. Chicken wing very small. ?4 months agoFood is nice. Serving staffs are direct. A lots of people eating, if you like coffeeshop, this a typical singapore coffeeshop.

a month agoJust went to check this hawker next to Taman Jurong CC. Tried the Curry Pork Rice and Sizzling Beef and Fried Fish Set in Japanese korean cuisine.The cashier couldn’t understand us even though we speak english. Still the food was ok.
in the last weekReview regarding Haris Sharif RestaurantLast week I went to order Chicken Mutabbaq (Take away). I never ever has such a unsatisfactory dish.
Pervious paratha master was perfect and the way he prepare and the taste was so good.
Recently a fat guy came as paratha master, he was keep seeing me whether I am watching him or not. But I dint realize why he is seeing me.
Once I reach home and while having the dish i found that he put some thing like dry mutton/steak inside mutabbaq was so dry and hard to eat, also no egg spreader inside mutabbaq. such a worst dish I had.
Please change your paratha master and be responsible otherwise naturally you will be losing your business.
5 months agoA clean modern food court. We stopped by after going for a walk at Jurong lake. Half of the stalls were closed, but there’s still many choices for a quick breakfast.11 months agoQuite a newly renovated coffee shop situated at beside the bustling multi-storey hawker centre, with loads of selection from your typical tzechar fare to Mala to Western (and whatever you name it!)? The Mala store is apparently a branch of a Chinatown food store, and it serves up really delicious and affordable food! There’s also the option to have it with less salt, oil and MSG ??
? curry fish head was okay, not very spicy but hits the right spot in terms of the taste
? the pancake was really flavourful, and it comes with a variety of flavours for those who are looking for a change from time to time – perfect after meal treat
a week agoSuper solid kopitiam for makan. Came here with colleagues and was totally in awe. This is probably the biggest kopitiam I’ve seen so far in Singapore, real big. The kopitiam sells a lot of great food and you can find most cuisine here. The Chinese beef noodles are my favorite, $6 a bowl and have the former Lai Lai taste. Highly recommended, and oh yes, is open 24hrs! Aunty cleaning the tables also very friendly.

This little foodcourt in the middle of residential neighborhood has one of the best dum briyanis I’ve ever had in Singapore so far. Perhaps even better than those in Little India. Those folks living in the neighborhood are so lucky to have this eatery lah.
The dum briyani isn’t the cheapest ($ 7.5 for chicken briyani, I believe mutton is certainly even more expensive), but it comes in HUGE portion that I have to spare some for dinner! It is served with chicken curry (unlike typical dum briyani, it’s separated from the rice) and pappadam, as well as achar (pickle) with a sprinkle of turmeric sauce as side. I thought the chicken would be fillet only, but instead it’s still with its bone. Nevertheless, who needs filleting if the meat was cooked to perfection that it falls off the bone easily!
There are also stalls selling other halal dishes, such as Nasi Kapau, Indian bread dishes (chapati, puri, paratha, appam etc.), Malay cakes, noodles etc.
Unbelievable, crazy high price, without price displayed. One set of butter kulcha (just a naan with some corriander topping) and 2 pieces of roti tissue costs $16.50. I was shocked. When I pay high price I expected high quality, the naan came out cold and dried up. Not to mention unfriendly attitude of the staff.
My last visit.
I was in wheelchair when I went there for lunch. The seats were spacious enough for me to be seated at the green tables.
My mee goreng was delicious and they added fried chicken as requested.
My son’s fried rice with chicken was also good. His plate was clean. Husband’s mutton chop came with pineapple slice and bread. He was delighted.

Nice Malay foods! Enjoyed the meal with colleagues. Not difficult to get car park or table to sit down.
Can be crowded. Went there around 10am for a beehoon soto. It tastes good but its salty. Maybe try the nasi lemak next time? But i doubt their nasi lemak will taste better than latiffa huri’s. ?? simple soto costs $4
