Plenty of parking in front of the place. Only one waiter but very attentive. The place is very clean, air conditioned and decorated nicely. Uses plastic plates. Price a bit expensive for the food. Maybe the rent is expensive here, I dunno. Ordered lontong goreng. Lontong was tasty but the accompanying sambal was salty. However, I found a piece of plastic in my food. Not sure how messy the kitchen is to have plastic mixed with food. Also ordered ayam penyet sira. Takes very long to arrive. The waiter told us the chicken was cooked upon order. When it finally arrived the sambal for ayam penyet was replaced with sambal for nasi lemak. The sambal for ayam penyet is not ready yet. Excuse given is that ayam penyet is usually a lunch menu (we came 11 am). Should have told us before we ordered if there was anything not ready or the kitchen should have told the waiter to inform us that they can’t make it in time. Customers don’t wanna hear excuses after not getting what they expect to get. Ayam penyet is not the same with a different type of sambal. It would be nasi lemak kukus ayam with fried tempeh and tauhu without the sambal ayam penyet. The good thing is the chicken is really big and tasty. The place has potential but needs improvement (e.g., waiter-kitchen coordination, meal prep time, pricing vs food & service).

We chose quite a lot of food for our plate. Honestly, we didn’t even know what they were. They all just looked good and colourful so we wanted them all.

If you’re in second link/gelang patah area. Worth to head down to try their roti canai and rendang. It’s a bit of a drive in through the kampung but the rendang is to die for. Would highly recommend to try.
simple, village environment, & served delicious food..you should order curry mee, sure will repeat again & again.. hahaha
An awesome kampung warung!! Dont be deceived by the outlook of the warong..
The food.. esp the roti canai sarang burung, with the dhal n cili gravy, simply kampung awesome..
Had a look at the mee goreng ordered by the next table.. decided to try.. simply kampung awesome..
Love the kampung warong ambience.. yes, trees all around and durian trees included..
No issue with parking as long u dont cover the kampung road passing by it la…

“Roti Canai” in specific served by order for breakfast.Alternative “Pit” stop for early bird cyclists to Pendas before heading to Tanjung Piai/Kukup unless you have ample suppliment.
Rustic village atmosphere but come prepared to handle the mosquitoes.
