a year agoI love the food so much. There’s a lot of option here from traditional breakfast untill English breakfast. A lot to choose for. But we order the Nasi Lemak Lemuni, Lempeng Kelapa with Sambal, Roti Atok, Roti Aiskrim and other. All taste so good and really worth the money. To those who want to come here it is advisable to come early since the place was full and you need to wait for some time to get the table.
Other than that, it was all good and very satisfying. Definitely I will come again with my family and friends.
The staff also very friendly and the order didn’t take so long to reach us.
11 months agoWorth to try!! I went around 11am on Saturday, quite packed with people. The restaurant is a small shop lot. Not comfortable to dine in if you come in bigger group.I ordered roti titab, koeyteow kerang (but there was no kerang, they gave 2 medium prawns) and kopi ais.
Really loved the roti titab and koeyteow which comes with sambal but I don’t really like it. Not sure what sambal it was.
The area is hard to find parking. You may need to wait for awhile to park. At times, there will be a queue lining up while waiting to be seated.
11 months agoDelicious char kuey teow and variety of toast. Has queue to get table but the waiting time was not too long. However we had an unpleasant experience using the toilet.in the last weekLempeng kelapa gula merah, green tea and kuew tiaw goreng kerang are so good! But the nasi lemak so so. Lots of people but easy to find seat even on weekend. There is plenty of parking.a year agoFood was epic! We had Kopi Tarik Ice, kacang pol, Kuey teow goreng udang, roti joget, roti titab, roti susu manis, coklat sejuk, mee goreng x2 (it was so good so ordered 1 on the go ?).Parking – bersepah, so just go around the building 3 to 4 time, if not ample park on the other side of the road.
Not many seats – so waiting game. Some people will just wait at the side and q-up,and some will wait at tables of those who look like they are almost done.

2 weeks agoA kopitiam with a taste of nostalgia. The queue is not kidding, we 6.40am walked in and found out almost all tables were full. Egg tarts are their signature dish and the best seller. You may come here for a sip of white coffee with egg tarts, dim sum here2 weeks agoThe best egg tart in Malaysia!Super flaky and just right egg custard. Both the flaky tart shell and egg custard blends so well!
2 of us ate 5 in a day, 3 eaten warm and 2 eaten cold. Even when it’s cold, it still taste so good or even better in another way.
Recommend one to dabao more home!
The pork pastry is sooo good too! The skin is as flaky as well, and the fillings are so well done n pretty generous too.
a week agoOne of THE famous kopitiams (coffee shops) in Ipoh, often filled with tourists after 10 am looking for authentic Ipoh White Coffee and egg tarts.Coffee was good. I always liked the characteristic smooth nature of Ipoh coffee, along with the right amount of sweetness. The egg tarts were normal, in my opinion, but the pastry was indeed flaky and very light, not too buttery. Hence, you get to taste more egg custard compared to pastry, which is pleasant.
7.8/10, good kopitiam, arrive early to get a table (come b4 9.30 am)!
a month agoMost tourists will definitely check in once for breakfast. Most of the time, the queue will be long, but during weekdays, u might be lucky. The drinks are quite diluted, not as thick as previous. Food is average but people come here for the old school feel. They now extend another coffee shop behind their old shop. Park8ng is hard to get here.4 weeks agoDoesn’t live up to expectations…Malaysians love their food, so when somewhere is famous expectations tend to be pretty high – sadly, this place just didn’t deliver.
Queued for maybe 10-15 minutes on a Monday morning before getting a table for four. The food (and coffee!) just tasted like a pretty average kopitiam. Nothing was bad, but nothing was really good either.
If you want to try it so you can say you’ve been there, and there isn’t much of a queue, go ahead. But if you’re just looking for the best food and coffee, I’d suggest you try elsewhere…

Serves good breakfast, lunch & tea menu.
This time i tried their chicken burger set lunch & bbq chicken chop.
Service was fast and friendly.
the food and drink are generally more expensive than the usual cafe . $70 for two drink and two main as show in picture
the drink taste pretty common and i personally feel the coffee bean is over roast.
the beef pie is quite dry on inside and i feel the mashed potatoes shall be inside the pie ?although i must say the beef is generous in amount .
we are down on luck and electric cut off when we dine in . i hope they can have electricity back up for their ceiling fan so at least customer don’t sweat and also for their payment system . those require very little electricity.
Nice atmosphere and good food. Serving fresh and great portion of food. Rarely see such good western cuisine in ipoh. Have visited many times, greatly satisfied with their restaurant
One of the best cafes we’ve been to. The waitresses had mentioned we might have to wait at least 30 minutes before our orders arrived since it was a Sunday morning. The first order came out within 15 minutes only, and in quick succession so did the others. Since my husband, myself and my mother are vegetarians for a festival reason, we opted for the vegan menu and it was really good! The choices of vegan menu do come with egg so those who don’t there are other breakfast menus available. In fact we had chosen as such and it was really delicious and fulfilling. I had ordered Rose Latte. We all had a lot of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ at the artistically crafted beverage. I have only taken the picture of the rose latte. In short it was a good brunch outing and definitely on our favourite cafe list to visit again!
Highly recommend their Peruvian Chicken, it tastes amazing ? Coffee and other foods we ordered are all up to standard. Definitely will be back again for their Peruvian Chicken and more.
