Good place to come and have your breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed the toast, dimsum and atmosphere! Just take note for travellers driving to prepare your parking coupons as this is a hotspot due to its central location. Need to do abit of research ya.. yellow with redline is A1 costs abt 1 RM per 30mins parking as opposed to yellow line which is about 0.50rm per 30mims. The rates are different.

I am sharing this as my own experience, they gave me half cooked steam chicken. When I went to ask the person who prepared the meals, why my chicken was still raw and red, she told me that steam chicken is actually red and raw. Then again I asked, “steam chicken is raw and red like this?”. She said “Yala, steam chicken is half cooked!” *She raised her voice a bit* I just smile and laugh and walk away from the stupidest conversation in this FOOK YUEN CAFE. Well, I already paid RM7.95, then only eat the one that wasn’t raw. What happens if I tag KKM? Hahaha

Food still same, iced drinks too much ice. Atmosphere clean. Service getting weak like we owe them something. We custmers dont expect to be serve like god but no need to give annoying face to customers. why only friendly face to police officers.

Wld drop by this branch to get my morning breakfast ard 6.15-6.30am.. a lot of the times, the noodles and dishes are not ready even when they say open at 6am.. and even when it is ready, need to wait for the counter server to take a pic of all the food that is ready at the counter before you are allowed to take the food.. they need to have a supervisor in the morning to make sure all the food is out by 6 when they open.. most of the time, I will end up leaving coz cannot for them to get all the food out.

Fook Yuen, a cafe not need introduction in KK City, as everybody knows them by heart, trust me. It was first well known for its homemade bread. Having branches in suburbs blooming rapidly.

This one that I visited located between of KK and the industrial area of Kolombong and compact w housing surrounding at Khidmat Area. The place has been evolved so much time to time to cater the needs within its vicinity.

It serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper too. Suitable for all background. Many come to enjoy that huge dim sum that now you can be individually RM1.90, some just love the varieties of ready made food from carbs to the side dishes at any hour you wish. They also serve Nasi Lemak and Porridge by having different counters. Another thing that they seem to be very popular of are their very thick Teh C, Milk Tea and Kopi O Ping, you can have them serve in glass bottle now, they even have them chilled. They also serve fruit tea, barley drinks etc

    1. Only came here for drink and dessert but both were good and surprisingly, not too sweet. Very fair prices such a restaurant setting. They ran out of barley unfortunately but the alternatives were tasty as well, the red bean milk was really good same as the lychee kang. Upon return, the barley drunk was good with generous amounts of barley. Both cold drinks came without ice unexpectedly, maybe you need to request it?

    2. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Service is a bit slow and they don’t order foods for you. You need go order at the counter. The lychee desert is tasty.

    3. This cafe is located in front of Sabah Tourism Board (Old Post Office) and Kota Kinabalu 0km site.
It has a good ambiance. As you enter the cafe, just find a seat, and the waiter will hand you the menu. You need to choose and write down the code of the food and drinks that you want to order in an order chit. Then bring it to the counter to pay. Wait for your order to be delivered to you. The food is delicious, and they serve generous portions.

    4. What a relief to have A AIR-CONDITIONING kopitiam after walking around in the Gaya street

Great place to chill and experience Malaysian local breakfast
