  It was quite a hassle to queue physically there. Apart from that, everything is pretty good. It was a busy weekend evening, a dish was missed and that was all the blunder. Host & servers are all smiley. Food were tasty and on the heavier side. Especially liked the Ee-fu noodle, Chicken in Chinese Wine & Boneless Chicken.

  Throwback Jun: Saw some interesting dishes on their Parents’ Day set menu, but then realized that u can’t add on the coconut prawn balls ala carte. ? Well, I ordered another prawn dish in the end.

  Besides the usual Angelica herbal roast duck, the Steamed fish slices & baby chinese cabbage in sweet milky broth was a hit with its tasty broth & addition of cordyceps flowers, as well as the Baby kai lan with salted fish & lime (tangy sauce)! Added on the Roasted Iberico char siew too, which had a good balance of fats.

  This round ordered only 3 dishes and homemade lime juice. Food was good, Kangkong was fresh and soft. Angelica Herbal Roasted Duck was tender. Fish Maw Thick Soup w Black Fungus was nice.

  Ordered their 2 pax set meal, white/brown rice included

  1. Signature roast duck- perfect as usual, one of the best in Singapore

  2. HK sliced fish- fresh and nice, but the portion is smaller than before

  3. Mixed Vege- interesting combination, nicely cooked

  4. Soup- better than those soup specialized restaurant…

  Duck is great, dish selections are getting awesome. The only misses are those pre-heated dishes which they sell in vacuum packs which taste preserved.

  Good HK-style food at affordable prices. Esp like the crispy noodles with eggplant, harkow (flavorful plumb n juicy prawns), and the beef noodles. The pork crispy bun was a tad dry. Unfortunately the roasted pork was also not crispy.

  It was love at first sight the first time I stepped foot into this restaurant a couple years back. It’s like you are being transported to Hong Kong – the vibes, the decor, the food and not forgetting the services!

  It is my go-to place for Bolo Bun with Egg and Luncheon meat (8.5/10) and Yuan Yang (ie. tea and coffee) (8.5/10). I also love that they serve Horlicks (9/10) (which is uncommon in Singapore restaurant).

  We brought our family there and they loved the food too! We ordered Min Egg Tarts (7/10), Hong Kong Styled Mini Coconut Tarts (7/10), Steamed Sponge Cake (9/10), Deep Fried Taro Dumplings (8/10), Thick Rice-roll with Dough Fritters (7/10), Congee with Fresh Fish slices (9/10), Deep Fried Glutinous Balls with Peanuts fillings (7/10), Pan-Fried Bean Curd Skin roll Stuffed Prawns (8/10).

  Some wait staffs are more pleasant than others but personally I find that completes the entire experience.

  I understood that they are undergoing a major renovation and I certainly hope that does not rob the ‘retro Hong Kong vibes’.

  I really enjoyed the food in this Hong Kong Cha chaan teng! The roast meat platter (三拼), including roast duck, roast pork and chicken, was delicious. The dim sum (such as the cha siew buns, carrot cake, prawn toast and rice roll with dough fritters) and beef brisket and wonton noodles were tasty too ? It is the perfect bustling place for family meals. The service provided was good, Jenny was friendly and attentive to us. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Hong Kong food. I will definitely be back! ?

  Roast duck & pork was really fatty but old folks likes fats. Roast pork skin not crispy. Char Siew Bao no good, cold pan fried carrot cake , nice luncheon meat cheese bun. Veg was ok but serve cold. Rice dry. $62 rather expensive & I would rate overall so so only. There are better place.
