Totally satisfied 吃的过瘾! There could be hardly a few good Chinese noodle specialists to be found in Kuala Terengganu but this is the one you wouldn’t want to miss. Fresh hand-made YTFs are the best in town (as in Kuala Terengganu if it’s not the whole Terengganu). The YTFs come in various options like fried fucuk, stuffed bean curds, stuffed vegetables (chilies, eggplants, bitter gourds, etc), or simply fish meatballs. Their fish meat paste is freshly made daily without a fishy smell, is bouncy, and is packed with umami flavor. You can go with either soup, dry or curry noodles. Their curry is rich in coconut and spices (especially lemongrass) flavor, the soup is clear but savory, and dry dark soy sauce is well balanced between seasoning oil and tastiness, not to mention their yellow noodles are free from lye, fresh and chewy. Minimum trace of MSG detected (as I have a very low tolerance for MSG). Very friendly staff especially the aunty who prepares the food behind the front counter, she always greets guests with smiles and patience, willing to accommodate different customer preferences on how to prepare their food like more dark soy sauce, soaked up the fried fucuk in a curry broth, etc). Very reasonably priced, you will leave this place with a full stomach but not a hole in the wallet. Washroom was clean, but parking could be a challenge and yet manageable during breakfast or lunch hours. Usually sold out by 2 pm, off on Tuesday (IIRC)
The best place for chinese stall food in KT. Must try: half-boiled egg, small bun, fish paste stick, coffee…
We enjoyed our first breakfast here in Chinatown Terengganu. And it was delicious! We will definitely come again 🙂
Our order:
1x roasted duck noodles
1x wan tan
1x fresh mango juice
1x black tea with milk and sugar
My rating according to star(s):

2/5 Below average, deficient
3/5 average, good
4/5 Above average, very good
5/5 Absolutely recommended
Traditional Chinese coffee shop in Kuala Terengganu.
A decent place to have Kaya Butter toast, soft boiled eggs and coffee. This breakfast definitely give a good kick of the day.
There are also many food choices in the store.
Great service from the staff.

Delicious Chinese food
– Terengganu Steam Lekor (with Chili Sauce)
– Hainan Mee
– Terengganu Bread (Kaya & Butter)
My regular soya drink stall in China Town. This soya bean drink could be easily the best available in Kuala Terengganu (FYI, there are obviously no other fresh soya milk makers around in Kuala Terengganu). The boss is very friendly and humorous. One big cold soya drink was RM 3 (no ice)
Also, the pan mee was good to, simple, chewy, and tasty soup with sufficient ingredients. You can ask the stall to upsize the soup and ingredients. It’s best to go with the iced coffee. Drink (RM 3)+noodles, RM 14 (as 4 November 2023)
