  1. Good and delicious does not come close to describe the food here, every dish was cooked to the way it should taste and brings back memories. This is another level of taste and unexpected from a humble looking shop. No wonder the queue is 30-45min and sold out by 11am.

  2. Fried chicken is good. The ikan bilis and nuts are crunchy. Sambal is good. Overall the dish can be additive

  3. Best Curry Rice in Bukit Mertajam/Simpang Ampat the environment is clean, fried chicken is crispy and delicious, ikan bilis is crunchy and sweet, toilet is very clean and it’s also renovated

A could have been a restaurant chef behind the kitchen. Therefore, the food is good & vast selections dishes for economy rice. Cleanliness is okay too. The daily free soup is pretty good and not too heavily msg laced. As to the pricing, the ladyboss seems to be getting bolder and slowly hiking up the price bc business is kinda buzzing.

Pin Village is located at Simpang Ampat. Their restaurant is famous for their bak zhang/zhong zi (glutinous rice dumpling). It is very fresh in my opinion and I believe that they made it almost everyday freshly. The pork is just nice for my taste bud with little bit of fat layer as some rice dumpling put a large chunk of pork fat meat that is very disgusting. I also tried the indian mee goreng which is pretty delicious as well. They won some awards and appear publicly for their zhong zi. They also wont Guinness World Record for biggest teddy bear ?.

[holiao] 1) overall – ok environment, friendly service, fast service, hot food, homey feeling from Pin Village 2) zong zi aka dumpling – tasted good with minced pork and chestnut. Soft glutinous rice, good portion. Recommended to share 3) Indian Mee goreng was really nice, juicy, not as spicy as it presented, worth the price that you are paying. Highly recommended.

The Trophies in the restaurant says it all. Price is very very reasonable considering that most restaurants would hike up their pricing with the awards and fame that comes along with it.

Bak Chang are really good taste. Meanwhile, Nyonya Bak Chang I will rate 3/5. Pan mee soup is not bad just the noodle texture too soft (not suit me)
