He’s friendly and will recommend food to us.6 months agoIf you haven’t tried the chicken soup, you’re missing out on a must-try dish! Trust me, it’s absolutely delightful. And the best part is, all their other dishes are just as good! 7 months agoTzechar place at the coffee shop next to Yuhua Village Market & Food Centre, it serves generous portions for the price, with some interesting Chinese dishes (there are sections labeled “cumin” & “laoganma” under the menu).Homemade tofu was tasty, good if u like something slightly spicy. Garlic chopped fish fillet was soft, but the sauce was too salty. Chicken fried rice was a big portion but with small bits of chicken (guess it’s ok for the price).

Neighborhood friendly pricing so there’s a steady stream of customers. But food didn’t take long to arrive at our table.
Fried rice uses short grain rice. Taste good if you eat it while it’s hot. The fish head is huge! Actually it’s the head plus half the body. Fish was reasonably fresh. And I found the fish liver intact, which was a pleasant surprise. Pig’s ear is crunchy, but we didn’t really like something about its taste.
Overall a reasonable meal that’s wallet friendly.
2 years agoPrice friendly.. it took us awhile to find the coffee shop. It is hidden behind the wet market. If you are sensitive to cigarettes or wet market smell I would recommend you to take the indoor seat. Instead of the “outdoor” seat. (Cos no much air circulation ard that area. Hence, the mixture of cigarettes and wet market smell is kinda errm u know)We ordered spicy fried chicken (辣子鸡）, fries Romaine lettuce (油麦才) and stir fried Garlic Chive (韭菜香干). We enjoyed all the 3 dishes. Will be back again to try other dishes.
5 months agoThe food is very appetizing. Super delicious.a year agoCheap, authentic Sichuan food that comes in generous servings. Gets really busy during peak hours. Best to call ahead to order.

If you don’t wander too far from the standard offerings, the dishes should be consistent and good overall value for money. I’m not enough of a XLB connoisseur to be able to tell the difference between the leading chains apart. The ones here a good, and surprisingly the chicken version was also well done. Efficient and friendly service plus a more than reasonable bill makes PD repeat visit-worthy.
The La Mian Scallion Oil is very nice. The truffle 小笼包 was a disappointment. The original 小笼包 is still the best. Also love the Salted Egg York Bun. The pumpkin pastry for dessert was really good.

The fried rice ingredients is plentiful and taste wonderful.
The prawn pork chilli vinegar taste amazing.. spicy sour and sweet..?
If the poached chicken chicken can be more tender, it will be a full 5 stars.

First time having the Paradise Dynasty at Westgate. La Mien was nicely seasoned and dishes were all on point. We had their signature xiaolongbao set, pork chop as well as the Yangzhou fried rice amongst other dishes. Service was warm and attentive. We will be back!
Food is good as usual. Fav place to go to for Gu ru Rou. La mian is nicely cooked with their spicy sauce. XLP skin is thin.
Service was good but slow. I gave leniency cuz it was on a sat evening. Requested for more ginger. Waitress mentioned okay but give her time to come back. However she did not fulfill her promise.
