For the sambal smelly bean w prawns, there’s only two small shrimp inside. The sambal Petai is nice if you are craving, this come w rice and it’s cheaper.

Salted vegetables soup is not nice, tasted weird, too much Chinese wine maybe. Usually salted vegetables soup don’t go wrong but at this place, it’s not nice. Don’t order, try other soup instead.

This is the worst restaurant I ever been to, not only the food is disgusting and the waiting time is super long and the waiter attitude really can’t make it at all. The waiter said can wait just wait if cant just go in a rude manner. We waited there for more than an hour wth. After food came., the food is total rubbish and tasteless, and the seafood is not fresh at all. The fish they gave is not the fish we wanted we fell cheated and the price is over price. No wonder no body go there and eat. One word HORRIBLE. If you ever passed by this store please skip, don’t waste your time to try. The food can’t make it all and waiting time is terrible long. Spoiled our mood visting such horrible restaurant. Never again.

No wonder they close down for a while as they were being sue by customers for the food hygiene. I went tabao and waited 1 hour plus, and the staff is so rude there. Throw the money to me as if I’m begger. Horrible experience and the food got hair I told them the hair they just use back and take out the hair and return the same dish and said they change a new one thinking I don’t know. Really jialard this restaurant. I will never visit them forever, this is the first time and will also be our last time. Very unpleasant experience.

Literally the best chili crab and black pepper crab I’ve ever had. You should try! Their crabs are really fresh.

Original white beehoon. Standard slightly declining over the years but still something different. Staffs are super friendly. Not too crowded nowadays. Old school fried chicken wings is super.

I consider myself a hardcore mala lover, and I absolutely enjoyed the mala version of their signature white bee hoon when it just came out. But when I visited this time, the mala been hoon became so spicy, oily and heavy, that I don’t think anyone will enjoy…be prepared for frequent toilet visits after the meal…

Lunch set promo was reasonable with 3 side dishes and a medium size bee hoon. Definitely enough for 2 or even 3 pax(if not that hungry) their dishes all have a unique own recipe taste compare to the usual chinese restaurant chains which have similar taste. Their sambal chilli is nice to add on to their beehoon which brings out the extra flavour.

    1. Their roast duck is really good and other dishes also taste good. Friendly staff and good service. Price is above average, so is highly recommended to join their membership for better deal. Be prepared for the queue during lunch and dinner time.

    2. On the afternoon menu, all the dishes we ordered met our expectations. Because there were so many of us, we ordered 3 different sets. The steamed fish soy sauce porridge was flavourful, congee was nice and smooth. Herbal duck had crispy skins. The dish that stood out for me was the hotpot tofu. Lots ingredients, smooth tofu and flavour. Also the crispy fish skin and fried Kang Kong salad was surprisingly good. Tofu pudding didn’t taste like the usual tofu fah. Overall a good experience. However, dining at the last room with a view to the outside in the afternoon may be abit warm and glaring. Perhaps the management may like to consider putting up a thin translucent curtain, to cut out glare and heat. $20pp is good value for being able to sample most things on the afternoon menu. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Keep up the good work.

    3. Dian Xiao Er used to be one of our causal dinner place especially when craving for duck.
Angelica Herb roast duck is our must order dish.
For recent visit , duck meat taste strong gamy but the herb sauce is sufficient enough to cover the unpleasant taste.
First time order their deep fried spicy diced chicken, hope the sichuan pepper fragrance can shimmered more into meat.
We ordered duck porridge too and portion is really big.

    4. The food was nice. The service was good. The crowd was long too. Join member, to enjoy voucher to off set the bills. Worth it. The salted egg balls limited time only.

    5. Great food at Dian Xiao Er. Was pleasantly surprised by the array of options especially the roasted duck. Crunchy skin and soft, delicious meat. Also tried other dishes such as the chicken and pork options, but duck by far the best. Chicken was on the salty side because of the sauce, but it was still good.

Suitable for families, as can share many dishes. Would definitely come again! But the prices are more on the expensive side.
