They have a variety of breakfast or brunch menu for you to choose from. Chinese style.

Spacious and a lot seats available too

The five spices meat roll is so good. The curry noodle is aroma and spicy. Nice! Famous for roasted meats too.

Will be here again to try out other food on their menu.

I have been here at this restaurant before and had tried their curry mee – it was pretty decent. I tried their roast pork wan tan mee this time, plus a plate of their roast duck. Also ordered a watermelon juice to wash it down.
The wan tan mee texture was sufficiently ‘Q’.
Taste wise it was ok.
The noodles came with 3 fried wan tans.
The roast pork was just ok – no distinct taste.
But I enjoyed the fried wan tans – they were crispy.
The roast duck was also just ok – also no real distinct taste as well and was only salty.
For the price paid, a very average meal, and thus only 3-star rating from me.

1) Overall – Chinese breakfast place, limited seating and parking capacity especially during the morning, ok cleanliness and services, food selection are wantan mee, charcoal toast with butter and kaya, curry mee, roasted pork, chicken rice, boiled eggs and many more from Restoran Good Taste 金記好好食云吞面家 (Subang Jaya Branch)
2) charcoal butter toast with runny eggs – lightly salted butter toast had its saltiness to the toast and lightly crispy at the edge of the toast, cracking a half boiled eggs to the toast elevates the flavour of the dish, tasted good
3) wantan mee – tasted alright, texture of the noodle was ok, no wow factors

Dirty with cockroaches. Total disappointment at this restaurant.
Please reconsider if you are going to eat here. Ordered a hot bento lunch box and cockroach came out of the rice that was being served.

  1. Place that I always come for chicken rice, but change my order this time for the Gon Lou Min..not disappointed (taste more on the sweet side rather than salty side)

Chicken here less oily and taste less salty compared that two most famous chicken rice in Ipoh, and taste good(always ordered chicken rice but this time).

I would say I already put this in my Healthy Food Restaurant List, food taste mild but with flavour. Almost all the things I tried here taste good. Chinese restaurant environment with aircon, staffs is responsive (but not at the lunch time/peak time), clean and comfortable place with reasonable price, especially in Subang area.

Recommended (especially you don’t fond of strong taste or salty food, just don’t drink the soup of the Hor Fan, sodium Man..).

  2. Don’t expect soft and tender juicy chicken here. They use the so called “cage free” chicken for the chicken rice.

Boiled chicken meat is generally chewy but not overly hard and dry.

Oil rice was fragrant. Chicken soup was nice but a little salty.

Roast pork is crispy. Must order.

Dining time is restricted to 45 mins. Be aware.

    Price wise not cheap.

  3. Char siew is superb. Rice is fluffy and fragrant. Poached chicken also delicious, but the roast pork is below average.

  4. Ordered half white chicken. White chicken skin was light and smooth. Breast meat was a little dry and stuck to the bones. Other cuts were ok. Roast pork was excellent. Crispy, tasty and tender. Char siew was a bit sweet and tough. Chilli was spicy with watery texture. Bean sprouts were from ipoh. Bigger and juicier but still not a fan. Would come back for the pork and white chicken thigh.

  5. Nice chicken rice with generous servings of chicken. Roast pork is a little expensive for the serving size maybe due to current price of raw pork. Service was fast. Will come again.
