Waited a while and when my burger arrived, i can see that the crispy cheese already shrink a lot and I also felt that the patty size already shrink as well. The burger is still acceptable but I wouldn’t pay almost RM25 for this. Last time it used to be that I am more willing to pay for Spades rather than Mekdi. I guess time has changed and now I feel going to Mekdi is so much more worth it.
Not planning to return to Spades anymore in near future. They are no longer the darling of burgers in Penang and sadly if I recall, their tagline is better burgers. But that is no longer the case now. Don’t really feel their burger is great anymore.
Oh yeah, and one last thing. I noticed that they have a number of menu item not being sold anymore so looks like the selection has shrink as well.
This is the worst McDonald’s i’ve ever been to. Went there for lunch and ordered fried chicken and guess what??? They gave me fried chickens from yesterday. It’s so dry and hard to bite into it. All three pcs were just the same. Just look at the photos here. I was hoping to get juicy chickens as we would normally get in another branch but this CHEAPSKATE branch doesn’t even care to serve properly. They don’t feel guilty to lie to their customers and gave chickens from i don’t know how many days ago. Spoilt and hard!!!!! Incompetent manager and staff. I STRONGLY ADVISE EVERYONE TO NOT COME HERE AS THEY’RE DISHONEST. I will lodge a complaint to kpdnkk, CAP and HQ bout this.
I order K-hacks zizan hack chicken. Supposedly, i got korean sweet sauce. But the crew give me tomato ketchup without inform me anything. I’m very freaking disappointed. The special for this menu is “THE SAUCE “ now i’m just eating the basic spicy chicken. This is the first and forever i’ll go to this branch!!
A very ridiculous story sharing that i had my drive thru today on 8.Aug around 11.30PM for my craving burger, unfortunately upon back without check on the take away package, the burger was found with a missing slice of fillet. After taking one bite with shock and surprise mixing together with disappointment, i drove back with another 15mins ride for feedback. At the end i had given a replacement for the burger without any apologies. Lesson learnt is to check your take away package before you have driven away as there might be Surprise possible!!!!
Food is up to expectations as per mcdonalds standard. Of course pricing wise it’s bit on the high side for a fast food. Premise is clean with plenty of seats.
Overall, it’s ok. French Fries as always isn’t fresh.. it’s hard and you can throw it to the wall and bounce back. Double cheeseburger and fish burger aren’t fresh.. chocolate sundae is a bit watery..So overall I rate 6/10.
