Chi fitness has a very good system for its clients.

The gym is well equipped, fitted with most required items and updates it’s items from time to time. I would say this is excellent effort.

The classes provided here is well attended and welcoming. Gives many beginner a test of something different without actually hiring a personal trainer.

The only thing I might not like about this gym is the ventilation system, because it is a basement gym, it doesn’t really have very good ventilation system. If it does, it would really be great, good Air is really vital to a healthy body and mind.(just my humble opinion).

And I’m writing so vigorously because I really want a Google Reviewer Badge. Please give me 1 really soon. (it requires a minimum of 200 words to be counted as one helpful review, I find this ridiculous and troublesome, oh wellz.)

I’ve been training for almost 3 years here, it’s nice to see the owner making efforts to make changes and adding equipment, but right now there are 2 things that I hope can be improved. First, I think the older barbell bench press that has been replaced is much more suitable for our anatomy, the new one, has a bump on the middle of the bench. I understand having an arc on the upper back while doing bench presses is crucial for full pectoral contraction, but not everyone is built the same, it makes more sense to learn how to arc our back without the help of the bulge that is extremely uncomfortable and might promote injury to the lower/upper back as it is hyper extending our lower back, plus adding stress from the weights, it is definitely somewhat dangerous. Second, there aren’t enough plates. As the number of people working out has seemingly increase over the years, recently I’ve noticed the plates are very limited. There are quite a number of strong individuals at this gym, and I’ve gotten progressively stronger as well, every time I do deadlifts I had to wait for another guy thats benching 6 plates(the whole gym has about 8 45lbs plates only) on a machine. About a year ago, I noticed a quite strong individual came here to workout but was baffled by how limited the plates are, and he never came back again. This shows how you are losing some customers as well. I hope some staff would see this comment and give a little more effort in improving the gym. You guys are doing a great job?.

  1. Tiny gym which tries to cramp all equipment inside. Very hard to manoeuvre around. Need to assemble all weight on your own. Always hot and stuffy especially between 5 to 7 pm. Not suitable for beginners, ladies and those looking for a comfortable place to workout.

  2. One of the best gyms in Seberang Jaya for serious gym goers. Equipment is well-maintained and the place is kept squeaky clean. Disinfectant spray bottles are strategically placed at all corners of the gym for us to use. If you are willing to learn, you will get some free workout tips from the friendly owner of the gym too! 🙂

  5. A VERY GOOD PLACE TO TRAIN. THEY HAVE ALL BRANDED QUALITY MACHINES. THE GYM IS VERY CLEAN. THE OWNER HAS SOME CUSTOMISED HANDLES AND MACHINES TOO. THE OWNER IS VERY PASSIONATE IN FITNESS.
