a month agoHad the pleasure of getting my hair cut and color by master director, Shim. He is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Shim knows what best for my hair. He is also super meticulous and take great pride in his work. Making my whole haircut experience very enjoyable and fun too. Thank you for making me feel comfortable and pretty on my every visit. He is very professional, talkative, cool friendly and exceptionally detail oriented. He also gave me some recommendations about my hair and ways that I could take better care of it. Tried a few salons before, but Shim’s a whole different vibe. It’s clear he’s all about nailing his craft, and that dedication shows. He’s got this way of tuning in when you talk about your hair, and when he gets down to business, you can see him zoning in on making your vision a reality.Finding a stylist you can trust is like searching for a needle in a haystack, but after a solid year, I can confidently say I trust Shim with my locks. Hair’s a big deal for all of us, and having someone who not only nails it every time (give and take) but also lets you kick back and relax during the session is golden. a month agoI’ve been cutting my hair with Master Director Shim for almost 8 years now. He is extremely attentive to your requests, yet he is able to give professional advice on the hairstyles that suit your face and hair type. He is meticulous and takes pride in his work, which is evinced in the amount of care home puts into hair cuts- my hair cuts plus wash typically takes longer than an hour. I strongly recommend that you book an appointment with him ahead of time as he is usually fully booked.

a week agoI’m actually very very satisfied with the haircut, but I am also upset with the dishonesty 🙁 ?The senior hairstylist lady who cut my hair was very understanding, patient and detailed in her service. Very friendly and did not hesitate to help me trim the hair to what I wanted. The haircut I got from her was exactly what I wanted, I really like it! I will highly recommend her for the cut. It was worth the CNY surcharge as well.
However, as you can see from the pics, there was this tuff of hair that was accidentally snipped off at the top of my hair (I actually saw it happen but I didn’t think much of it) that was only visible after my hair was washed and blown dry. I commented that it’s probably an accidental cut, but the hairstylist denied multiple times that she never did that, and said that it was simply because my hair was oily before that, so it couldn’t be seen. Or that it’s probably my baby hair.
Guys you can see it for yourself, I might not be an expert but the hair is definitely freshly cut, it’s not thin at the end, it’s thick and is a sudden cut at the end of the strands. I told her that I have had this same hair for months and I never had this tuff of hair but she refused to believe me. I even topped up extra $6 for dandruff shampoo. Although nothing can be done to it at this point, I feel like the least they can do is give me a discount to make up for their mistake or something???
My first time cutting with them but it may be my last.. it’s a pity because I actually liked the lady and would have came back again 🙁
2 months agoThis is the result of 530 SGD paid. I ask stylist to root rebond, C perm to bottom of hair and about hair cut. But stylist is very very bad and do not understand English speaking also. Even I request not to cut hair first and do rebond also, do not follow and cut a lot. Now I have paid 560sgd and got depression when I go outside and meet with others. Bcos I got a lot of bad comments from my fris when they saw my hair. This is my fourth time go to ProTrim. Previous stylists are not like that and I got satisfied ?. But now and never ever I will not go this shop because I got this lesson and now I can’t change back anything. Very very bad.2 months agoPaid $105 for a scalp treatment but there’s only 2 steps – apply paste and wash off. Not worth it at all. The whole treatment took 15-20minutes, way below standard. Highly recommend other salons like leekaja/bada hair where the price point is the same hit there are more steps to the treatment. Ps they just use the keratse treatment paste, just buy it from Watson aNd DIY at home. Never coming back and highly do not recommend this salona week agoEarly this month, I went Pro Trim Hair Salon @ Jem for a haircut. As I was rushing for time, I asked for any available hairstylist. Karen was assigned to do my hair. She was very gentle and gave me a lot of hair advice. I did scalp treatment too. It was so relaxing and my scalp felt so clean after the treatment. I was so pleased with Karen’s service that I brought my teen girl to Pro Trim to have her scalp checked. My girl enjoyed her scalp treatment and can’t stop smiling from ear to ear. Thank you Karen for taking good care of our hair condition.3 weeks agoThank you Min for doing my hair so nicely for my ROM last weekend. I went for Wash & Blow + Styling. She was very attentive and friendly. She will let you check the style that she will be doing for you and ensure it is to your satisfaction before she proceeds to set the hair.

I’ve been here for the past 1 year plus. Andy was a very professional hair stylist and expert in managing all types of hair condition. Karhy was very friendly with good skills. All the staff there are all very approachable and their service is very good. The price is also reasonable. Recommend you to try out this salon if you have not done so!
