a week agoNice salon own by humble msian couple. Ah bee and the wife are the owner. Their business are mainly from regular customers who keep coming back. I was recommended by 1 of my friend and never went to other salon since then. Price is reasonable and both the hubby and wife are good at what they do. As this place is so popular, highly suggest to call to book. It’s always crowded.7 months agoI’ve been a loyal customer of Vich’s since 2016, back when she’s still at Boon Lay Shopping Centre working for another salon. She was really good at giving me all the crazy hair colours I wanted especially when granny grey hair was the trend back then. Even thou my hair was long and thick, she would always do her best to make it look good! My longest hours spent at the salon was 10.5 hours, salon was already closed by then but she still patiently finished doing my hair! I’ve been a loyal customer since and even got my husband to go to her too! I also recommended her to my friends and colleagues as I felt she’s really a good hairstylist!There’s no hard selling from her at all unlike most hairstylists who will always try to sell u various treatments or products. Instead it’s always me asking her for advice for treatments and products to use.
Thou I’ve not been dyeing my hair as often as in the past now, I still go back to her (since she’s opened her own salon with her husband) for hair trims or cuts whenever needed. I only trust her with my hair and this pair of husband and wife are truly one of the most hardworking couple I’ve met.
And always always make sure to call and make appointments as they’re always packed esp on weekends and xmas/ CNY periods! With appointments, u definitely will be served thou sometimes might still have to wait as they’re really popular and will always try to accommodate everyone even walk-ins (gotta wait even longer and sometimes risks being rejected if their salon’s overwhelmed with customers). They often go hungry for long hours as they really put their customers first so one can definitely be sure that you can walk away happy and satisfied with your hair at the end of the day!
7 months agoAlways a delightful experience with Ah Bee at Silverline Hair Salon. He is patient, humble and down to earth and knows his things about managing your hair. I always know that I will be well taken care of when he helps to cut/ hair my hair. Though, it is a simple cosy salon located at Bukit Batok Ave 8, the experience I have is always superb. I am impressed by how they handle their appointments, they will not take any more than they can handle to make sure that every client is comfortable and well taken care of. I love their hair washes, they have a good thorough cleaning experience and an unexpectedly good neck and shoulder massage during the hair wash. Last but not the least, what I love most on top of their exemplary service is that they do not push and force any products or services onto you when they are servicing you.I would definitely recommend Silverline hair salon for an affordable yet awesome hair cut/ make over experience. They have definitely earned its place as my go-to salon and I am always looking forward to my next appointment! Thank you Ah Bee and Silverline Hair Salon for the incredible experience thus far and making me feel like a million bucks!!!
2 months agoBeen cutting my hair here for the past few months, honestly they are very friendly and I have to say that they are good at what they do. Reasonably priced for sure.Read some of the reviews about upselling and all, but totally not true at all. Never once was I sold anything.
Even if I made an appointment and had to wait awhile for my turn, totally worth it.
2 months agoReally good prices, and very friendly staff! My best friend recommended this place and now its my go-to for haircuts now. Permed my hair and the perm lasted way longer than what I was used to previously. Great place!

4 months agoGreat products used and friendly hairstylist. If you can communicate with them right, they can give you a good haircut. For its price it is reasonable but worth it. However, they mainly speak chinese, which may be abit hard for purely english speakers to communicate to.5 months agoHave been going to Yoke Loo since my 2nd child born 5 years ago. Every time I’m back in Singapore I never fail to get a trim, a wash and blow. My daughter haven’t found a salon in London who is as good as her experience at Yoke Loo. She said the best haircut is from here! Says a lot!3 years agoDespite being priced on the higher end, the service was nowhere comparable to other lower-end salons. Had my hair done by a big sized hairstylist and he did a very bad job and was very unprofessional and the dye was also not perfect.Also like to point out the the hairstylists generally gave an unfriendly and unwelcoming vibe which was a turn off.
Would never pay for such expensive services again given the quality and poor service.
4 years agoHad an initial bad experience because the reference photo and the final outcome of my hair didn’t gel. Gave a photo reference of an actual dye job and turned out to be super different. Wanted BLEACHED highlights and went home with blue and uneven green highlights. I was asked about the colour (which I understood and was promised that it would look better than the photo reference…) but the unevenness of the colour really stood out when I went home and tried to take photos.However, I managed to make another appointment and the salon graciously helped to rectify this situation! Very professional BUT:
It’s pricey because of their products as they use high-quality (bleach). Customer service is great but if you’re looking to save money I wouldn’t recommend this salon. It offers a huge variety of services which is great, but I think ultimately you have to purchase their salon package for it to be more value for money.

The lady boss is really friendly, provided tips along the way and did a fantastic job on my hair! I got a digital perm done, with haircut, wash & blow plus treatment. Prices are very reasonable and this is an underrated gem in the neighbourhood. Will continue supporting for sure!

VERY WORST , I did half rebounding and half perm last Friday and my hair turn out really bad. I can’t believe my eye that my hair became very frizzy and very rough, no more curl after I wash my hair. I paid 248$ for this bad hair. Doing my hair at this salon is my worst decision ever.
When for a reborn and colors. Reborn don’t last for a month and color (dark red) less than a month too!! Lady boss Skill level: rough. The male boss was very noise!!!
