Went over at 9.08pm to get something urgent. I knew what I needed and just had to take it, pay cash for it and leave. Staff said the product I needed was all the way in and can’t be taken. I told him I need it urgently and I will squeeze in and get it quickly. He refused and said he can’t take it for me as well. What an irresponsible and unhelpful staff?!
He’s sulky all the time and refuses to even take items that have been stacked. I once went there in the afternoon to buy a container and he refused to sell it to me because the cover was somewhere high and he was sooooooo lazy to take it down!
Unfortunately, this is the only hardware shop in the vicinity. Go at your own risk and try not to be triggered by this insensitive staff.
Here’s my experience. I had a specific problem and asks the shop owner for advice. He recommended me two items which is meant to work together to solve my problem. One is good. The other doesn’t fit. Went back for exchange the next day and he said ‘no refund’. I’m not even asking for refund. I want to change to another item that’s able to solve my problem. Really bad service. First and last time I’m buying anything from there. Please, whoever is reading this, find another store.
This seller really wasted our time and effort. Not recommended. They also don’t have much colour range, price is higher compared to other shops, and SUKA SUKA Operating Timing. Seriously, don’t waste your time travelling to this shop.
Operating hours indicated 4pm but opens close to 5pm. Some more they can yah yah tell me, you never google our operating hours before you come huh?
Then, takes another 30mins to set up shop. Finally, he took my order, circle the colour i choose at his catalogue (White-Timid Pink) and starts mixing it.
Went back home and after painting the first layer and realised it was actually not the same colour. It’s (Snow White). Damn it!
Be careful with them, always check your stuffs before you leave their shop. And the Sad part, they are the only Nippon Distributor in Punggol. Damn!
Doesn’t even deserve 1 star if the option is available. I brought pic of the toilet tap to show the lady to ask if the water sprayer is compatible but she don’t even look and guarantee that it’s universal. I brought back to refund coz it doesn’t fit they are neither apologetic nor advising a solution. Wasted my time and money. Such attitude totally deserve -5 stars.
Poor service, lack of proper safe distancing and overcharging for Nippon Paint products ( as compared to shop at Rivervale mall, estimated 15 % to 20 % higher). It does not even worth a star as mentioned by the one of the customers)
Lady owner is not respectful to her customers. Sarcastic answer if you ask something. It will trigger your patience and ego if you further talk to her longer. Good thing I know what I need, good luck for those who don’t know about repair and what they need. As everybody says, my 1st and last.
