It’s a nice mall near the waterfront but way too confusing and the touch screen directory wasn’t functioning when I was there. Massive place where you can get anything you want and lots of food choices ranging from all different budgets which is nice. The Ramadan decorations with the turtles was really cool but some children were touching the display and security didn’t bother to tell them off.

The produce wasn’t the freshest, many items had already wilted even though I visited in the morning. The cauliflowers, in particular, looked like they had been used to mop the floor. It really feels like the management isn’t bothered about maintaining stock quality.
While some items are cheap (though you need to check the expiry dates carefully), others are ridiculously overpriced. For instance, in the toothpaste section, the Colgate Total Active Prevention Whitening Value 2 Pack was priced at RM28.50, whereas other marts sell the same type for around RM22. (Lazada/Shopee are the best place for price reference).

Aeon is my favorite grocery store—I come here at least once a week. I love their fresh produce, cozy mini food court, and bakery. And now, with durian season in full swing, I can’t resist the display of fresh Penang durians. In my opinion, Penang durian is the best.
This time, I picked up Capri, MSK, and a new variety called Fine Thorn, or "Yu Chee" in Hokkien. It’s an incredible new breed—very different from Black Thorn. It has a firm, sticky texture with a sweet start and a bold, lingering bitterness that makes it truly unforgettable.
All the durians at Aeon are top-quality and consistently good. Highly recommended for any durian lover!
