a month agoTried the today’s specials menu – smoked salmon pizza and the squid ink pasta. The quantity of the pasta was a tad bit too little even for a lady, but it was good. I can totally understand the reviews of the pizza here – they are really delicious! The melting lava cake was average. We also had a half-bottle of wine. The total bill amounted to $151 for 2 pax, a little on the expensive side but would visit again!2 months agoGot 2 pizzas and 2 glasses of wine for table of 4. Ended off with a slide of tiramisu. This place is really gem, the prices of food is extremely reasonable and quality is really top end. Service is amazing too. Had roasted pork (this was so damned flavourful), seafood pizza (felt this was ok but hub said it was exactly the same as the ones we had in Italy), squid ink pasta was also very tasty & done well and choc melting cake was also surprisingly good! (I say surprising cos most restaurants buy it readymade & just heat it up but theirs seems to be baked in-house from scratch – I may be wrong lol idk but it was yumms) The staff are super attentive, friendly and detailed with food recommendations. Suitable for those who don’t like over spice stuffs.4 months agoWhat a delightful evening at this hidden gem of a restaurant! The food was delicious no doubt. Every dish we ordered was a hit. Diavlo pizza, the crust was thin, chewy and flavourful. The lasagna, perfect saucy and meaty comforting dish. The spinach and ricotta ravioli was spectacular. The chef is just amazingly talented. So homey yet so elevated, the dessert panacotta probably the best I ever had. This is a place I will add to my regular list and will keep visiting again.Special mention to the service team.. so warm and polite. Water cup was always refilled no need to ask. The plates cleared swiftly and dishes brought out so fast. Absolute delightful service.

7 months agoWould give 3.5 if I could. Maybe will edit my review after trying more dishes.Tried only one dish – customised fusilli, garlic butter shoyu, mushrooms and asparagus. I love pasta, I don’t have very fussy tastebuds

Cashier didn’t crack a smile and barely acknowledged me – not a complaint, it’s not a big deal to me but if you require some level of service do take note.
I saw them preparing delivery orders, indeed the sauce was separated, but the sauce was thick and orangey – mine wasn’t separated. Not sure because mine had not much sauce to begin with or because delivery orders are treated slightly differently? I think it’s the former.
My order was more like garlic with the slightest hint of butter and a suggestion of shoyu. I was slightly disappointed because it sounds like it would be yummy if done well. Another reviewer commented liking the garlic butter shoyu, so maybe the chef who did mine had an off day.
I appreciate that the mushrooms aren’t those from a can because that would just be superrrr sad. The portion of asparagus was on the smaller side. Mushroom seemed ok. I also appreciate that the asparagus was NOT full of the thickest most fibrous parts. I only could not swallow one piece (5cm long?).
It feels like a very safe dish – like if I was buying for a picky 8 year old or 12 year old even, I would not go wrong. The pasta was cooked well, good bite, not overly soft.
Would I eat here again? Yes but so far I wouldn’t purposely come back.
8 Jun edit: tried the ShabuShabu Miso Cream Spaghetti and added Asparagus.
For the sauce: I can taste the cream but the miso part felt unfamiliar and unclear. Not that it’s a problem, I did enjoy the dish – it works! But again I don’t really think it’s a sophisticated taste etc.
I’m happy I got the “separated” container 🙂 I really appreciate the extra details for the finger holes to make it easier to lift the top section of the container.
I was fuller after this round of food, the portion did seem bigger than when I first ordered the fusilli.
The same verdict applies “It’s a pretty good choice if I’m hungry and nearby”
a month agoLevel of professionalism over the counter is 2/10. I ordered my pasta with a fillipino lady. well I did made the first order but I asked her to wait as I was waiting for another order to be made. I told her that I would like to change my first order and all she said was ORH ORH ORH. and she took my second order.instead of reconfirming my order again, she sent two orders to the kitchen. and when she handed me the two dishes, she said “well, u didn’t say u dun want the first order” she took the first order and dumped in in the bin with great frustration and shoved my second order right straight at me.
in the first place, I did tell her that I wanted to cancel my first order and she acknowledged it with “ORH ORH ORH”.
whatever it is, whether the customer or service counter is right, DO NOT SHOW YOUR ANGER!! and Please learn to smile. not pull a long face.
11 months agoNot bad for a takeaway pasta place. Went on a weekend lunch time, not very long wait.I like it that the sauce is packed separately from the pasta. Tries the salted egg sauce prawn spaghetti. Taste pretty decent, quite big sized prawns and fresh. Fitting price for takeaway.
11 months agoHow it works here is you:Step 1: Pick your sauce Aglio Olio, Cream, Garlic Butter Shoyu, Salted Egg, Tomato, Tomato Cream and Truffle Cream.
Step 2: Pick your pasta Spaghetti, Fusilli, Linguine and Fettuccine
Step 3: Pick your meat $2 or veg $1
You can pay via QR code (attached pic for apps that work) or nets flashpay and credit card is accepted too.
My first time trying the food from here. When I walked past the store I realised the truffle smell was really strong so I decided to go for a truffle cream prawn spaghetti ($9.90).
They do not have a place for you to sit and eat so all orders are dapao.
Coming back to the pasta I ordered. The size was ok. I think I expected more pasta/carbo. The sauce came separately which is easier for them so they don’t have to keep washing their pans but I would prefer pasta that is cooked in the sauce because the flavour gets coated and the pasta soaks it up. It is more delicious in my opinion.
For $2 I got 5 pieces of prawn. Also I’d say decent. But what really disappointed me was the truffle cream sauce. Given the smell was strong it somehow did not tasta as strong. I was expecting a punch of truffle to hit me when I took my first bite but it was so mild.
I would give this place a try again but I would try a different sauce and a different protein. Think its not fair to them if I don’t try other stuff they offer before deciding whether or not to continue eating their food.
Will come and order something else the next time and let yall know how that goes. Also please bring in pesto sauce! Pesto sauce pasta is really yummy too!
4 months agoThey mis-labeled my vegetarian order and my non-vegetarian order. I did not notice until very late and now my appetite is ruined. I cannot believe I paid almost $20 for 2 orders and yet they mess us such a basic thing. NEVER eating here again

Dont get the ravioli, filling feels more like potato mis rather than the four cheeses mentioned in the menu. Also, it feels like it wasn’t parboiled before gratinating so the dough feels undercooked.
Their other Doria items such as the Lamb Ragu Penne are much better options that I would definitely return for, along with the inexpensive house pours.
Like all other Saizeriya outlets, here they offer decent Italian food and pizzas at lower prices. For the price, I would say its definitely worth it. Though we were a bit disappointed by some of the taste at this outlet, which tasted a bit more bland than what we usually had from their other outlets, example like the escargot and pasta. Their pizzas are fine though. Hope this is just a once off for this outlet.
Love the food , the service, the atmosphere. Use to go others outlet but this amk outlets is the best. This is the 2nd times I’m here, picture was taken today and pervious day. Important is the staff here even busy still carrier a smiling face. Even with a mask on can see through their eyes . Keep it up will come back again. Jia you ok is not easy in F&B service line.???
First time patron this outlet and ordered Black Truffle Mushroom Pasta. Am very satisfied with the taste. Staff were lively, outlet is facing the main street, so it has natural light coming in, which I like too, as it makes the whole place brighter and I can see the tables are very clean too.
This restaurant is well located just outside AMK hub. The food service was fast and the food prices were friendly to the pocket. The meals were delicious and portion was reasonable. Water was free flow too. We also ordered white wine to pair off with the meal. Can come back again for other dishes. ?
