This place serves really nice Italian fare. Pizza selection is wide and they’re all quite good. The style feels quite authentic Italian. Plenty of other things like Calzone and pasta as well in case pizza doesn’t strike your fancy. Highly recommended.

Best dish for me is the speghetti! The fragrance is special, smell like onion and eggplant and I never taste something like this but it is good. They really know how to handle the tomato and onion. Tiramisu really authentic too! Very big portion and worth the price.

Ordered the lunch set while having lunch with my friend. The choices were either a fish or a pasta so we decided to order a different set each.
The 3-course meal started with some liquid in a bowl, which feels unique in its own as it feels viscous enough to pass it off as a soup.
After it comes the fish. At least I had fun figuring out whether this fish would fit in my palm was an interesting science experiment on its own after realizing how flat the flavor is. The dessert was probably the only saving grace about the entire thing.
While paying, I came upon this realization that ‘If it is vegetarian, it must taste bland’ after giving the lady at the counter what my friend feels about the pasta. The more you learn, the more you know, they say.
tl;dr: rm28++ does not justify the price and flavor I receive

We loved everything here… It was indeed a hearty & authentic Italian meal with friendly service & they even have a small kids area to keep our kids occupied while we enjoy our food. We recommend their seafood stew (spicy) that comes with crispy garlic focaccia.

a month agoBest Italian food. The Mushroom Soup , Chef’s Salad, Spaghetti Cabonara and Spinach Salmon Ravioli was superb. Reasonably priced as well. Portion could be a bit more though. Excellent service, especially liked our server who was very attentive and pleasant … will be back to try other dishes.2 months agoQuality of the food served here took me by surprise! In a good way of course. The pasta, paella and calamari starter were on point. Definitely met gustatory standards. The only minus was how my steak was prepared. I asked for medium well but receive medium rare instead But other than that, I’ll certainly recommend this establishment for its Italian dishes. A mention goes out to the staff as well, attentive and always with a smile.2 months agoVisited Elmondo years ago when they were still at Egate and I did loved their food back then; but wow, I am very impressed with their new establishment at Elite Heights. The whole vibe and atmosphere is very classy and of high standards. We ordered the steak , fish piacatta, mushroom soup and a slice of tiramisu cake. The mushroom soup was flavourful and the garlic stick that came with it was very generous in my opinion. We truly enjoyed the steak and the fish which was executed really well. The fries, salad and asparagus were really tasty and complemented the main dish well. The tiramisu cake was served in a huge portion and we took some time to enjoy it in order to finish it. Will definitely return for more??2 weeks agoUsed to dine at Elmondo many years back in their old location and remembered that their wood-fired pizza was pretty good. However during my latest visit I am disappointed in the pizza and the overall quality of the food in general. Pepperoni pizza had thick, bread crust that feels like it was instant pizza from freezer. Fried calamari and risotto are so-so. Portions are small and quite pricey for quality offered, which are more close to budget cafe food standards. Definitely not authentic Italian lol2 months agoHad dinner at Elmondo today,and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The food was quite mediocre, lacking the authentic flavors and quality I had hoped for. The ambience was also disappointing, with a lackluster atmosphere that did not set the right mood for a pleasant meal. To make matters worse, the service was subpar, with slow and inattentive staff. The restroom was not clean, which was disappointing, considering the price I paid for my meal. Clean and well-maintained facilities are an essential part of any dining experience, and in this regard, Elmondo fell short of expectations. It’s an aspect the restaurant should definitely address to provide better value for its customers. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Elmondo if you’re looking for a memorable Italian dining experience.

Order from grab food. One of best Italian food in town. Mushroom soup is delicious with minced mushroom! Pizza crust is crunchy and full of cheese! Main dish, Schnitzel Chicken with mushroom creamy pasta is large portion, chicken meat is good and the pasta very creamy too. Highly recommended!
Tried their pesto pasta and mushroom which are very good. Reasonable price.
Tried pesto and carbonara spaghetti not good. Carbonara sauce is not cream, it’s from can sauce. Won’t return. Pesto also not good.
My favourite is Aglio2, pizza and mushroom soup. Has been eating years back. Recommended, no regret.
But seller needs up fix an off day and put your off day signage at the stall. I hv recommended many to go over but was not open.
I haven’t been here, I always order from Grab. The food is absolutely amazing! Every pizza I tasted melted in my mouth. Absolutely the best crispy pizza I had in Penang. Also, they always write cute sentence in the pizza box. Hihi. Highly recommend!!!
