a week agoTitle: Pleasant Dining Experience with Room for ImprovementRating: 4/5 stars
Review: My recent visit to this restaurant was quite delightful! The pizza I tried was simply fantastic, and the coffee complemented it perfectly. The service was top-notch, with a very friendly waiter who made the experience even better.
The cozy atmosphere added to the charm, though I noticed there’s room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. Hopefully, they’ll focus a bit more on this aspect.
I signed up for their membership and can’t wait to return for more delicious meals. Overall, a great experience despite a few areas that could use some attention.
a week agoThe staff are very helpful and attentive. Great Italian halal food. The team sang a birthday song for my daughter’s and mom’s birthday during dinner and it was delightful. Our 3rd visit here and we will continue to patronize. To get the membership is recommended and looking forward to members rate for next 3 years!2 months agoA good ambient and a loud positive environment. Great for gathering with friends.Love the food. Pizza taste great n crispy on the edge. The beef burger r good did requested for “well done”, very filling meal.
Service r great. Staffs r friendly.
Not for people who likes quiet place ^_^”
a month agoI enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant. The food was decent, though not outstanding. The best dish was the Garlic Prawn Linguine. The Clam Vongole was bland. However, the service was excellent—attentive staff even went the extra mile by providing paper and colored pencils for kids, drawing for them. The pricing is on the higher side, but the 50% discount for members helps offset the cost. Overall, a pleasant visit.a month agoI love this restaurant! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. The only thing I would suggest is to have some Tabasco sauce available for those who like to have. Other than that, this is a perfect place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. I highly recommend it!

in the last weekI highly recommend this place for Italian food in Johor Bahru. The mushroom soup was especially good made with real mushrooms, I enjoyed the calamari and seafood pizza as well, which both had fresh seafood that was great. The service was great and fast, however, if you sit in a bench, there is a light that is a bit bright and it can’t be turned off. Overall, a great place and I highly recommend trying it!a month ago13 Dec 2023. Our anniversary. Thanks my loved one for being there for me. Saw this restaurant lunch promotion quite attractive and was thinking the portion will be adjusted. Good restaurant with proper serving portion, not cutting corners. We ordered a salad and soup, steak and fish. All taste good. Also got the tiramisu and lemon tarts. Waiters all friendly. Good place to visit again.2 months agoEnjoyable time with my good friends with delicious food at this restaurant. The ambience was nice. However, when the male staff was taking our order, a female staff was leaning her body against the wall besides him. I don’t think a F&B staff should stand in that manner in front of the customers especially in a nice Italian restaurant.
a month agoWe came here on a Wednesday afternoon and ordered their set lunch deals, as well as their carpaccio di manzo. The carpaccio was fantastic. I could taste each individual element of the dish and the rich flavours lingered and savoured in my mouth. It has a great balance of acidic, sweet, and salty flavours and each bite and chew was a pleasure beyond words. The set lunch deal on the other hand, is only decent. The starter salad was great, the cheese was really quite tasty, but the mains were a bit of a let down. My favourite is the fish, but in general all the mains are good, not great, but not terrible either. Same goes for the deserts. Perhaps the high standard of the carpaccio blew our expectations of the other dishes way out of proportion. Nonetheless, this place is quite good and I would come again, to try other dishes and because it’s at a reasonable price point.3 months agoWe were so pleasantly surprised to have discovered a beautiful Italian restaurant in JB. The interior is so classy and every dish we ordered was well-executed – beautiful presentation and delicious. We can tell that pride was taken to source for good quality ingredients. Staff were attentive and we got to speak to the 2 bosses and thank them for their good food. We’re keen to try more dishes in the future. The lamb chops were well-seasoned and cooked medium well as request. The fish was perfectly cooked – crispy on the outside and divinely tender on the inside. The handmade pasta with prawn was delicate and mouthwatering. The fresh truffle mushroom soup was yum.
Interestingly, what stands out the most in my memory is the very good quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar served. Yumz

Hubby and I dined at Tosca for a double celebration – our 26 years of Wedding Anniversary and my birthday on the same day too. The food was great and the services were equally great too. Our compliments to their chefs Bob, Acai and Tuah and also the 2 servers, Malathy and Fiman/Aman.
Atmosphere and food is great. Sitting outside if there is cold weather otherwise prefer to dine indoor. Thanks Theresa had rearranged our seat from outdoor to indoor. I am giving all 5 stars because l understand that They are short of manpower. Food came out fast for our dinner and the best is their bread with olive oil ? Thanks Tosca team for the birthday cake for my hubby birthday. Only things Disappointed me is mushroom soup sold out at 8pm☹️
I had high hopes for this Italian restaurant due to its stellar reviews, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. To start, the complimentary starter bread was served like a loaf, the bread tasted thin and crispy on the outside and quite fluffy on the inside. The olive dip, although not bad, was noticeably milder compared to what I’ve savored in other Italian establishments.
Even the fries, a dish that’s usually foolproof, lacked flavor. However, I did appreciate the fact that they were made from hand-cut potatoes rather than frozen ones, which was a saving grace. The seafood pizza also erred on the side of bland, lacking the aromatic essence of being wood-baked. The seabass, regrettably, had a tough texture and an overpowering fishy taste.
On a positive note, the ambiance and service were commendable. A pleasant surprise awaited us at the end of the meal in the form of a complimentary piece of cake. Though it was, regrettably, the most subpar cake I’ve ever tasted – almost frozen and exceptionally hard – I still value the kind gesture.
In summary, the cuisine here falls short of authenticity and leans towards the bland side. If you’re in search of an authentic Italian dining experience, I’d recommend giving this one a pass.
During my recent visit to Tosca Italian TrattoriaI(Level 13 at Doubletree by Hilton) was profoundly disappointed with both the quality and pricing of the food.
The signature mushroom soup was a letdown; it was watery and lacked flavor, easily the worst I’ve ever had.
Moving onto the main course, the classics like spaghetti bolognese didn’t fare any better – it was overcooked and bland, failing to meet the basic expectations of a dish so simple.
The cheese pizza was another
disappointment, arriving soggy and unappetizing.
On a positive note, the service staff were attentive and friendly, which was a small consolation in an otherwise underwhelming dining experience. The indoor environment was dark, but it was still acceptable and had a cozy ambiance.
However, considering the high prices, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The cost is steep, especially given the subpar quality of the food. I suggest looking elsewhere for a more satisfying and value-for-money meal.
To summarize this whole experience, I would describe it as pleasant ambience and good service but terrible food quality.
Personally I enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant since it was relatively quiet and it had a pretty nice view. As for the service I would say the waitresses are really nice and patient which is definitely a plus point.
Unfortunately, the food taste and standard is the exact opposite…
To start things off, the mushroom soup was terrible; it wouldn’t be a far shot to say that this is the worst mushroom soup I have ever tasted for 45 ringgit. The soup was bland and the consistency was watery (you can view the video for evidence) . It just felt like mushroom soup from a can which was severely diltued and a small drop of oil added on top. I was greatly appalled by how bad mushroom soup can actually taste and this soup definitely takes the cake. Not sure if the chef used to work in a Chinese restaurant so he assumed that mushroom soup is meant to be the same texture as those found in Asian soup?
The next dish which came was the aglio e olio was linguine with garlic and some dried chilli and cherry tomatoes. Given the horrible start due to the mushroom soup, I would say that this dish is was slightly better than the soup. At least this dish looked presentable but once again the dish was bland and lacked the garlic aroma which is usually present in aglio e olio; the garlic is obviously undercooked. All I tasted was linguine in its raw form and a clump of oil which was really hard to digest. Even the addition of salt and pepper couldn’t salvage much of this situation.
Finally we also ordered the pizza quattro formaggi which was equally disappointing. At this point of time, I was expecting a dish which taste terrible and indded it wasn’t far off my expectation. As the name of the dish quattro formaggi suggest, I would expect 4 cheeses to be in it but all I could taste was 2 (most likely parmesan and cheddar). Honestly, it just felt like an overly priced pizza from pizza hut. In order to salvage the situation, we asked for some honey in order to pair it with the pizza. However the honey was some low quality overly sweet syrup which I wouldn’t even classify as honey.
In the end the food was so bad we decided to cancel our desserts in order to end ourselves from this ‘punishment’.
Overall, I will visit here again just for drinks since the environment is still pleasant but I will never ever come here for the food since it is not only overly priced but terrible in taste
I hope that reviewers who claim that the food served here is authentic and delicious would consider visiting more Italian restaurants
