The restaurant is so nice, cozy, nice music, great food and the staffs are very professional and friendly. Our little son is so lucky, he gets to make his own pizza with the Chef.? I bet all the dishes are great…we will definitely come back again and try other dishes. We will definitely recommend this restaurant and ?.

Despite what others had reviewed, both positive and negative, we definitely enjoyed our dinner tonight. From the welcome to the menu recommendations and serving. Abby is just perfect. The food, though would prefer to be less salty are all delicious and enjoyable. I also find the price reasonable. Will be back to try more dishes.

Second time here. Both service attended by Abby. She was great and full of knowledge almost everything in the menu. I didn’t think about the menu, just follow her recommendations. Turn out everything is great and delicious. Kudos to the owner having such a great staff.

Very friendly staff, delicious lamb ravioli. The vegetable lasagna was too cheesy.. Lamb ravioli approximately rm36 Great appetiser though. Yummy tiramisu.. Lightning was slightly dark inside, difficult to take nice photos. Can opt to sit indoor or outdoor. Price is on the higher side.

October 2023- I went to the Gaya street branch as the branch in Suria is closed down. Very yummy food. Vegetarian Spaghetti aglio e olio and classic lasagna, 2 warm water cost rm75.60.

Missing Itallian flavor? With beautiful sunset view if the weather permits . Owner & Staff was friendly and helpful. They helped me arrange for a friend’s surprise Birthday dinner weeks before I travelled to Sabah.

5 Replies to 7 Italian Restaurant Pilihan di Kota Kinabalu

    1. What an absolute gem. Everything we had here is so so good. The zuppa de mare was a highlight: the soup so amazingly flavourful, and all the seafood so fresh. The crespelle al forno has very interesting texture and all the flavours come together beautifully. The meatballs had a bit of a kick with the arabiata sauce. It’s an institution here, with tacky decors, solid service, incredible food

    2. Welcome to the beating heart of Kota Kinabalu’s original Italian treasure! Immerse yourself in a world of genuine flavours that’ll make your taste buds dance. Whether it’s lunch, dinner, or the holiday/festive season, this place is a hot spot for locals and tourists alike. To ensure you don’t miss out on the delicious goodness, Be savvy and show up early to snag your spot and relish the experience

    3. What a cool spot! The atmosphere makes it feel like you’re actually in Italy. We sat on the patio which has a vibrant view of the city. The ingredients are imported from Italy and are of the highest quality. The pizza was perfection, and so was our pasta. This Tiramisu recipe has been passed down generations AND IS SO GOOD! A must visit restaurant in Kota Kinabalu! Perfect for a date night or a family gathering.

    4. We always pass this place and wonder why there are always so many people eating here. So, this time we had lunch here after church. We know now why people love eating here. Love the authentic & original Italian food. I love the Crespelle: spinach, mushroom and ham. The small size pizza is just the right size. Tiramisu is also tasty. The polpette (meatball & garlic bread is nice). The missus said it may taste better with gnocchi. Overall, love the place.

    5. I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Little Italy for over a decade – it is by far my favorite Italian restaurant and it never disappoints. I love that you can select the different types of sauces you want (traditional red sauces, cream sauces, or a blend of both) and the type of pasta you want to have it with. If you aren’t sure, you can always ask the servers for recommendations on pairings. I’ve never had a bad dish at Little Italy and will continue to dine here for many more years to come!

Pictured: Squid ink risotto (ask for spicy for a little kick), and seafood risotto – two of my favorite dishes.
