Went to several Italian restaurants in Penang. This is one of the best in term of food and value. The pizza was perfect. One of the best pizza dough so far. Thin and crush. The pork rib was very good. Hand made pasta was excellent. Risotto was good. The dessert was excellent too and not too sweet. The service was very good and friendly. A definite repeater.
Excellent Italian food! Thank you Chef Luca & team for such wonderful dinner. I am a huge fan of pesto and most restaurant would over do it with cream. It was made to perfection over here. The salumi e formaggi platter was amazing.?? Pizza was slightly salty to my liking but it wasn’t a big deal. Do pair it with their chilli oil for a kick of heat. To seal the deal we had three guilty mouthwatering desserts of Panna cotta, almond cake w cherry compote & tiramisu. Delizioso! Service from heart by Shankar, Rahid & Arieph. They made our evening meaningful.? This trio will definitely make us return to Via Pre. Grazie ā¤ļø
Had a great dining experience here. The set lunch is super valuable, RM 29 for main + sides + beverage.
There is no issue with parking because there is a public multistorey carpark located at Lebuh Union.
Waiters are providing fine dining standard service.
It is better to book a reservation during peak hours.
Came here on a Monday for lunch, and the place was empty, so I can’t comment on the overall atmosphere. The restaurant, however, was nicely decorated.
They had a lunch meny which was of good value. The food was delicious and tasted authentic!
The service was great, which was to be expected considering we were the only guests at the time.?
I enjoyed the food tremendously. The cold platter is utterly satisfying! Had this for lunch with my colleagues and Iām full enough to skip dinner as well. Will be coming back for more!
