Came here on a Monday for lunch, and the place was empty, so I can’t comment on the overall atmosphere. The restaurant, however, was nicely decorated. They had a lunch meny which was of good value. The food was delicious and tasted authentic! The service was great, which was to be expected considering we were the only guests at the time.?

I enjoyed the food tremendously. The cold platter is utterly satisfying! Had this for lunch with my colleagues and I’m full enough to skip dinner as well. Will be coming back for more!

Had a great dining experience here. The set lunch is super valuable, RM 29 for main + sides + beverage. There is no issue with parking because there is a public multistorey carpark located at Lebuh Union. Waiters are providing fine dining standard service.

It is better to book a reservation during peak hours.

  1. The bread basket was below average for Italian restaurant. The pizza was ok, definitely not enough tomato sauce. The chicken was good. The best was the appetizer. Nothing special to entice me to come back.

  2. Went here for a birthday dinner and the food was amazing. Loving the Bufalina pizza and my favourite was their Carbonara. Tastes so classic and yet so creamy! They served breads and focaccia as appetizer and it tastes just ?? hits the spot right.

The host were kind enough to let us sit earlier because we arrived a little before the reservation time but both of them are so wonderful.

They brought their big chalk board which displays their daily menu around the restaurant to those that just came and ordered and I was surprised haha. Overall a good experience! Would come here again for another round of authentic Italian experience.

  3. I celebrated my wife’s birthday here. Overall, it is a great restaurant for special occasions. The food was nice, I like the fried calamari and the carbonara. The pizza dough was a bit hard in my opinion. We ordered a long island cocktail, I think it was good also. It has a strong taste of alcohol but was softened by the sweetness of cola. So it was quite easy to drink. ?
The environment and the service was good too. The staff were very polite.
The price for the food was slightly above average. But i think it does worth the price. So I would recommend this restaurant.

  4. Deserving of all the accolades bestowed on it over the years. The owner and his crew takes great care in ensuring that all guests are comfortable seated and well attended to. What I wanted to write about is their off the menu special of duck leg. It was as tender as can be and we polished it off in a few seconds. A must order!

  5. – Relatively expensive compared to other places for what you get, quality and quantity wise (receipt pictured)
    – We were lucky because we came right when they were open but you should reserve first
    – The alcoholic cocktails are not very strong but it’s fairly priced as well.

    – Ordered:
    1. Insalata Caprese (RM 42) [4/5] – Everything tastes refreshing and crispy. The mozzarella also doesn’t taste dry
    2. Linguine Seafood (RM 48) [4/5] – The portion is a little undersized but it was deliciosooooo
    3. Lamb Shoulder with Cous Cous (RM 59) [4/5] – Juicy, tender and delicious. Portion is also huge. Cous cous was also flavorful
    4. Il Bacaro Pizza (RM 54) [3/5] – For a namesake pizza, it feels a little underwhelmed. The dough and toppings is good but somehow the whole thing doesn’t sum up well enough for me to give it a 5 stars. The dough smells good and crispy but the pizza is a little bland. But your miles may vary.
    5. Injection Tiramisu (RM 27) [3/5] – it’s alright. It’s not bad but I have had a lot of better tiramisus

TL;DR: Alcohols are not that expensive but not that strong. Food quality and taste is definitely up there but the pizza may not be to my taste. Pasta and lamb are must-orders. Price is a little more expensive than regular restaurants. Will definitely come back to try other menu items.
