    1. This is one of my favorite places. The decor was simple yet cozy and inviting. The waitress did an excellent job. The appetizers must be sprinkled with crack because I just craved for more and more. The signature Porchetta was fit for god himself. Had to have a shot of espresso or I would have fallen into a food coma. Ended the whole ceremony with one of the oldest beer in the world. I give them 5 stars but since I had the beer it’s now 6.9 ?

    2. Good environment and friendly staff, there are some barcode to scan for the menu, its a bit hard for w8ing to website for loading and it take us 10 min to Get the user experience, it end up we spend 15 min for first time user to order only consider I am a senior web developer, how an old uncle can order ? perhaps a menu is better than the website or maybe free wifi help … . the place is very clean and staff are professional and friendly. they welcome u with water which is good, the toilet was super clean, u can park inside just tell the security on the entrance that u are going to coffe, else u can park outside for 2 houre only.
The pork signiture was so tasty, chicken chop was good, mesh potato was so soft and tasty.
The music is light and goog place for dating.
Btw you can watch inside the kitchens when they are cooking.
      Over all recommanded !

    3. Overall, a very pleasant meal. Mushroom soup was a little bit bland but acceptable. The pork ribs were delicious and the gravy, on the sweet side. The pork knuckle was deliciously crunchy and tender. The drinks were really good. We actually ordered whole porchetta but since the pork supply wasn’t good enough, they couldn’t make it. Definitely will come back again to try the porchetta.

    4. Neighbourhood western restaurant with affordable price

“The driving force behind Cafe Rocco is Chef Hon Sing, a self-taught chef who gave up his day job to start Hungry Mario, a Kuala Lumpur based private supperclub, with his wife, Magarita Santiago. “Since I was young, I’ve watched my mother prepare traditional Hakka dishes like Yong Tau Foo,” he said. “And when I fell in love with Magarita, I started cooking as a necessity as a way to impress her – and I guess it did!” – credit : taken directly from their website

Everything that has got to go with porkylicious food would definitely get my attention. Located in Sri Bintang which to me is an outskirt area out of my comfort zone, my appetite for the better of me one day and I found myself in front of the restaurant for lunch.

◾Spicy grilled baby octopus RM16 – charred baby octopus with spicy gohchujang aoili. They managed to get the doneness right and then aoili complemented the seafood nicely. In fact, I ordered a second helping.
◾grilled chicken chop RM28 – grilled chicken thigh, roast potato, cherry tomato, carrot and mushroom with homemade gravy. Again, meat doneness is very important when it comes to chicken.. and I was pleased when I cut through the crispy skin to reveal the juicy and moist meat. It would make any classic western meal lover proud.
◾Yin & Yang RM38 – crispy kurobuta pork belly & soft tenderloin medley with ginger mustard sauce, roast potato, cherry tomato, carrot and mushroom.
◾Pork Bolognese pasta RM28 – generous amount of pork Bolognese sauce on top of regular spaghetti, crunchy pork lard (yep.. you read it right!), Parmesan and extra cirgin olive oil
◾Aglio Olio Bacon RM28 – spaghetti with crispy homemade guanciale slice, crispy bacon, slow roasted cherry tomato and extra cirgin olive oil
◾Coffee Pork Ribs – I was looking forward to this dish because the description sounded interesting. Presentation was good – however, it had this powdery texture & bitter aftertaste. I guessed that they were too heavy with the coffee powder and I conveyed to the chef directly. It’s a creative dish but execution-wise, there’s still room for improvement.

Actually this was my second time coming here… Due to the fact that I like their food. I sincerely hope that they can get everything right in the near future.
