  1. aiyoohhh, more expensive by 30-50% compared to other korean places in klang valley. normal size kimchi pancake is rm40 man, crazy. kimchi pancake taste was way too sour, sundubu jjigae is not cooked properly, can’t taste the richness of the seafood flavour. side dishes also badly seasoned. overpriced, bad quality korean food. will never ever eat daorae ever again. and guess what, can’t see any koreans here, that should have been a clear red flag. i should always check if got real korean eat at a korean restaurant before going

  2. Fresh and delicious Korean BBQ sets but a bit pricey , love their seaweed soup .

Update: Revisit after 2 years hiatus, grilled meats (special pork meat) are simply good, can be better with a more friendly service with smile, look tense and stress eating here, not comfy.

  3. I have been coming here multiple times but when I recently visit, one of the staff was very rude. The staff taking my order wouldn’t let me place my order because I only ordered for 8 pax ( 2 set and one bimbimbap) even after I said I will add afterwards when I want to. He keeps insisting I have 11pax and wouldn’t state the reason to not take my order except for forcing me to order more. He even told me I can only refill once for my side dishes when I know the side dishes are unlimited refill, I even confirmed this with the manager.
He was also very rough when handling the meat on the bbq, the hot sauce kept being splashed on my friend when he flipped the meat.
I admit the food is good, but the attitude of the staff is so bad, makes me don’t want to come again.

I had a very AWFUL experience at this Korean restaurant.

The lack of respect from the Korean owners was quite evident.

The side dishes were tasteless, our order was delivered incorrectly, and the barbecue dishes were overcooked. The smoky and smelly environment added to the overall unpleasantness. The food quality was poor, overpriced, and not worth the cost. Additionally, the excessively long waiting time for food delivery was frustrating.

Adding to the disappointing experience, the hygiene of the kitchen preparing barbecue dishes was subpar. The open area without cover exposed the food to external elements, compromising cleanliness. The tables were noticeably dirty, raising concerns about the overall sanitation standards. This lack of cleanliness further contributes to the restaurant’s overall negative impression. It’s advisable to steer clear of this establishment due to both hygiene and quality issues.

I would advise others to SKIP this restaurant to avoid wasting time and money.

The owners are a lovely couple from Korea, and they take lots of pride in ensuring the food they serve reflects the authenticity and standard of their home country.

If you’ve been to multiple Korean restaurants, you’ll understand the difference the moment you sit down and the side dishes are served. From the color of the kimchi to the acidity and freshness of each side dish can be seen. The food will speak for itself and you’ll realize how true Korean cuisine is supposed to taste like.
