The service here is incomparable to anywhere else. The designs are unique and trendy. Look for Celeste specifically once you’re here.

5 Replies to 7 Money Changer Pilihan di Yishun

  1. The rates for the common currencies are ok but the rare ones are really bad!, they gave me OLD notes which cannot be used. Do take note for those travelling to Czech! These notes are not usable anymore. The newer ones have a thicker silver strip whereas the old ones have a thin silver strip. Rate given at this money changed was 1SGD:14CRZ but it’s 1SGD: 17+ CRZ in Czech Republic and at most banks. Felt kind of cheated because of the extremely poor rates + old bank notes which caused us alot of inconvenience.

  2. Beware of this changer. They have a lot of customers but they treat them horribly. They don’t seem to care and get overly confrontational because they will still have customers. If you’re changing small money then it’s fine but don’t change large amounts here.

  3. Rates for some of the major currencies as of my visit today were marginally better than another nearby money changer on the same floor. However, customer service was poor.
Would advise anyone to double-check the sums before concluding the transaction.

  4. Rates are pretty good for the common currency like MYR, THB and CNY. Service can be better but I didn’t encounter rudeness personally though the young chap had a permanent scowl on his face. But I did have a good experience with a bearded middle aged guy whom I believe is a senior there.

  5. Not professional at all , will not change my money again in this store.
The 2 works sitting there yelling and laughing non stop , which is very unprofessional
I provided 200sgd to change to RM , the guy asked me to top up another 1.10sgd. Unfortunately, i dont have cash with me . Then the guy give me a rude look and said “ So
    how?”
I was speechless, i hope the store owner manage/ train their worker better.
