a week agoLocated in the centre of Shah Alam. I went here for work training purposes, been treated very kindly by the host. Delicious lunch buffet and have a various choices of cuisine. Beautiful lobby, luxury style. Overall very good service and hospitality. Great experiencein the last weekLast time I stayed here, our room was okay. So this time that my brother had to attend an event in Shah Alam, I booked Mardhiyyah for us including my mom. The sound proofing was so terrible for room 1221, we can hear the street for the entire night and it is so noisy. I am writing this at 4 am, we had been awake since then because the rempit sounds from the road making it impossible to fall asleep. Idk how any of us would be able to drive back to Kedah tomorrow after none of us was able to sleep for more than 10 minutes tonight. What a miserable experience. I’m not even a light sleeper and even I can’t fall asleep. Not worth the price paid and messed up our entire event planning. Feels like crying for the inability to fall asleep tonighta week agoTried their buffet breakfast today. First impression looks impressive, the spreads started from the front right till the back. They have local, Japanese, indian, Chinese and English. We was so eager to start. Upon starting than we found out the truth about the quality of food presented to us. Let’s start… 1. Sushi was poorly rolled n break apart upon picking it 2. Japanese teriyaki chicken was dry n tough 3. Dim sum doesn’t taste fresh made (probably frozen) 4. The toaster was set too hot until some of the bread was burnt 5. The butter cakes was so dry 6. Muffin was rock hard 7. Buns was also hard n dry 8. Red Watermelon full of seeds 9. Chapatti was dry n tough 10. Roti canai was also tough n not fluffy (guess must be frozen) 11. There was flies seen on the food and tablesQuite a disappointing experience for a hotel of such class. Changed my mind to try their buffet diner and hi tea
2 months agoI enjoyed my stay with my family for 2 nights. What really stood out was the cleanliness. The rooms can use some refurbishment but all the staff have been friendly and kept everything very clean and tidy.a month agoWe were set at 7th floor and congestion at the lift only one or two was working with soo many people checking in. At night, I was terribly disturbed by ‘some things’ and the toilet in the hotel was soo creepy with the mirror facing the door. Soo eerie to stay here it has old haunted hotel vibe. Parking space was also scary. Don’t stay here alone. Bathtub water was clogged but plumber came quite fast. The bathroom floor was also filled with water like something somewhere is leaking. Same price with other nearby hotel but the vibe was different. You might want to pay for valet parking because the place was refurbished and old and small and toooo far to reach to the lobby. Overall super inconvenient to stay here

2 months agoSituated at a prime location in KD, this hotel offers an acceptable stay in my weekend experience. Parking may be an issue as this area is crowded all the time but managed to find one or two empty slots late at night. The rooms are rather small with only about 5-6 tiles to move about inside. Generally it is clean and comfortable but if I can be overcritical, the beds could need an upgrade as they sink after lying on them awhile.2 months agoRated average. Double room very small. Imagine to stay two person in a very small room. No space for Muslim to pray. That size suit for single only. Reception counter only from 9am-5pm. Before or after that time, you need to communicate with the other H Boutique Hotel. I checked in and noticed that only have one pillow. It was like the housekeeping doesn’t do their work proper. Iron section very sad. I suggested to the hotel, just put the steam iron. So that no shirt gonna burn during iron. Hang out section at level 3 was very nice. The only problem is, we need to use our room card to activate the power supply. Which is not very practical because one person wanna stay in room, the other person want to sit at the corner. Both need the card. Hopefully the hotel will take note and improve in future. ☺️4 months agoAround the hotel got a lot of delicious food, there is a Taiwan food cafe on the same row.Don’t worry you’ll find ur favourite food there and also it is a milk tea lover heaven.
The hotel is very clean and with a lot of facilities. There is a clean water dispenser provided and there is a hall for you to sit down and have ur activity.
2 months agoLocation is good, room is clean, only receptionist not always in the recep counter, it’s quit difficult to collect the depo money if we want to fheck out earlier than 9.00 in the morning because the reception counter onlynopen at 9.00 in the morning.5 months agohow much you paid is how much you get, thats how i would describe a budget hotel is. Consider it knowing as a budget hotel, I would say the service is quite decent (there’s water dispenser, an outdoor and indoor lounge) and staff at the counter during working hour that will tending to customer’s need.basic amenities like towels,tooth brush and hari dryer were available. however if u r going to stay more than 2 nights, might consider to bring extra shampoo or shower liquid.
Air conditioning temperature can be adjusted, working just fine.
there will be a strong smell of cleaning agent that coming from the bathroom for the first day, but after 2nd day the smell gone becuase u use the bathroom, and not quite soundproof as i can vaguely hear snoring or tv sound from other room.
ktv at the opposing hotel doesnt cause any issue.
Overall, I would consider to book this hotel again for its convenience and basic amenities and also as a solo traveller.

Really liked it. Strategic location. The rooms are clean and spacious, the prices are not too expensive and the surroundings are complete with facilities for selling food and groceries. There is also a coin laundry. Several types of restaurants. Can be a long term stay at corporate prices. Friendly staff.
4 star hotel. All is lousy. Hotel room include breakfast but the breakfast is go other cafe to eat. What is the point for us book room with breakfast. Hotel aircond no wind at all Totally worst experience. WONT COME BACK ANYMORE!
Im first time here, i gve u 5 stars ? room so beautiful and clean, its all good. For food need to online, but theres a cafe next to hotel. Dont worry here 24 hour supermarket availble too, so dont worry ? THX QLIQ
1. They did not provide parking for customers. They asked me to park on the roadside without any responsibility. In the end, the police came and fined my car, even on the weekend.
2. Their receptionist is really unhelpful. Management, please consider replacing that Malay girl with glasses and long hair. I asked her how to get to my room, but she answered rudely without even looking at my face.
3. The room is not the same as advertised.
4. I will not recommend it to others.
Genuinely one of the worst hotels i’ve ever been to in my life… do not come here!!
1. upon arrival there was no one at the front desk and we had to call someone to check us in
2. front desk lady was incredibly rude
3. when we went into the rooms they were FILTHY
– used towels
– unmade beds
– hair all over the floor
4. when we went to address the problem the front desk lady was rude and unapologetic
5. the new “clean” rooms were also disgusting — dirt on the toilet and floors, the walls were filthy, etc
This hotel sucks
