a month agoComfortable, spacious and clean! Got the room for 5 guests and we enjoyed the night. The water pressure in the bathroom was fantastic, we enjoyed our shower after a long day out! I think it’s better that they provide water dispenser outside instead of those disposable plastic water bottles which is bad for the environment. My mum in law requested a shower cap which was kindly given for free. 3 in 1 soap provided. Towels provided. Basic TV channels which was occasionally disrupted but it’s okay. For the price we paid, highly value for money. Gotta say, we were all very impressed with how clean the room is, especially the bathroom. Deposit: RM100, refundable via bank transfer after they confirm that you didn’t trash the room. They refunded me in 30 mins. Thank you to the owner of this establishment for providing a comfortable, clean yet affordable accommodation.in the last weekStayed at the 3-pax room which was 1 queen and 1 single bed.Good: 1. The room looks new and clean. 2. Room service each morning to change towels and waste bin bag. 3. Water dispenser for hot and cold water. 4. Wifi provided, but will be disconnected ever so often. 5. Body soap and toilet rolls provided.
Bad: 1. The hotel slip which was given stated window view but no window at all. Luckily my mobile internet has 2/5 bar reception and still usable. 2. Door lock is difficult to lock/unlock. Make sure to check the door handle is locked properly after turning the key.
Overall I think we were quite lucky to get a good room for our stay. Can be regarded a hidden gem far away from city center, but nearby walking distance to AEON and Lotus (previously Tesco) shopping mall. There is a RM100 refundable deposit upon check-in and it is non-smoking hotel.
2 months agoCustomer service was soooo sooo bad!!! Needed to charge rm31.80 for extra person but there is no extra towel, pillow & etc. Basically you need to pay for nothing. NO IRON PROVIDED! Not even one!! There is not even mineral water & toiletries provided in the room. The staffs were so bad at customer service & even slept at the counter before we checking in.5 months agoThe only advantage is you get a spacious room at a budget price.The rest of it is a failure. I got a room next to the pub with music till past midnight, yellowish towel, torn blanket, broken tv screen, broken wall lamp and a quacky sound bed.
Not recommended unless u wish to be adventurous.
5 months agoDuring check in time. There were 3 people at the counter and they told me that I have to wait till 2pm (In fact only around 10 minutes to 2pm). So I waited. Then another guest came in, they immediately checked him in!!!??? What!!!??? So? Who waited in the queue not being checked in but the later one could immediately gotten ?️? Then after I checked in, found out that the room given was not as per booked. Asked and being told room fully occupied!!! Then why allowed to book in the first place? Another worst thing.. the TV.. spoilt!!! As per Attached pictures.. all channels not being able to watch. Then why is the TV inside the room for? Haiz!!! Totally frustrated!!!lPs: Wow!!! What a wonderful lies that the hotel dare to replied!!! A woman??? That’s a man came after me.. Good to use a woman to get sympathy. Well, if your hotel know what is customer service, you should at least tell guest that you will check in others later than me as I was sitting there waiting. You asked guest to w polite and how about hotel staffs? Doesn’t know what is politeness? Yes!!! Your hotel is a worst budget hotel with no service at all!!! And don’t give excuses on your tv channels. If not working. Isn’t that should inform me during check in? Your hotel gave free cancellation? No way!!! If not that’s I called to Agoda to complaint .. your hotel totally don’t care. I request to speak to the boss or in charge . Your staff said no one I could speak to. Why no guts to face guest? Anyway, it’s a ban for sure!!! You want guests to be polite and please learn how to be polite first as you are opening a budget hotel for business. Without guests. Your hotel is nothing. I did not ask your hotel staffs to treat me like a king but at least know how to respect guests if needed to cut queue. Simple isn’t it? I have been checking in to alot of big hotels and small hotels. Even budget hotels but none like yours. At least they know what respect is!!! 10 minutes also so calculative and dare to use woman with kid to lie about the facts!!! What a shame!!! Next time please learn to ask permission if needed to cut the queue!!!

Don’t be tempted with the price and location of this stay, why?
1) located beside main load, very noisy and cannot sleep well even I use earplug.
2) airconditional compressor located beside window, vibration sound damn noisy.
3) room sound isolation is poor, can hear walking sound and chair dragging.
4) difficult to unload luggage and personal belongings due to no parking.
5) don’t eat and drink inside room and they will charge unreasonable cost to you if found small stain.
6) need to prepare your own umbrella if raining as there is no shading exit from this hostel.
7) unsafe location as it is located at the back of the street.
Stay here for 1 night w/ my friend, overall the room is clean, tidy and i love the balcony area. Mostly, we spent our night and morning in balcony while having our dinner and coffee/tea. The staff is so helpful ??✨️
Stayed for 2 nights and then extended. Aircon was amazing (but keep the bathroom door shut because it gets very humid). Water machine for boiling hot and cold water on each floor which we always appreciate! The bed was not clean on our arrival however was changed immediately. Very quick response from staff on all matters and a good location overall! Would stay again!
Stayed only one night but had a great night sleep. Comfy clean bed. Room was spacious enough. Clean bathroom with nice hot water and good shower pressure. Aircon and fan in the room which is decent. Walking distance for many nice street art, market and food. Nice staff. Would stay again
The room is clean and comfortable. Second time staying in this Grayhaus accommodation. It is very affordable and will recommend those who just need a space to rest for a night. The only downside is the public parking is slightly further from the accommodation which will be inconvenient for people who has lots of items to carry.
