The salon charges $30 for male hair cut. I was attended by this male hairstylist named stanley.
I showed him a picture of myself with a layered haircut done in another salon with a similar price, and asked him to cut my hair in the same manner. He said can do it but the outcome speaks otherwise.
The haircut he done was extremely sloppy. There wasn’t much layers at all, especially the sides. He took only approximately 10 to 15 mins to cut, even though my hair wasn’t that short. After he finished cutting, he didn’t even bother to ask whether the haircut was satisfactory (and whether there is any areas that need touching up) and proceeded to ask me to go shampoo my hair. I even had to ask him to bring a mirror to look what he has done with the back of my hair.
Overall, he seem like he was rushing through and not interested to cut my hair at all. And mind you, I went there on a weekday afternoon and the salon was not busy at all. Imagine what would happen during peak hours (if they even ever had one).
I sent my wife to this salon where I saw it has good reviews. My wife said that their service was phenomenal, and that they ensure their customers had a wonderful experience. It’s good to have private salons like this for those who needed privacy. Will definitely send my wife here again in the near future.
Went to this place for the first time yesterday. They were so friendly and nice. I got a trim/haircut. A bit pricier than I thought, however, the service was so good and clean! She took great effort in cutting and styling! Thanks! 🙂
Highly recommended. Hairstylist-cum-owner had sound knowledge of her trade. Apt advices given from choice of hairstyles based on hair texture, facial shape and level of convenience to choice of colours suitable for the specific hairstyles. Recommended the hair wash. Very professional scalp massage. Very clean, neat and tidy environmental. Attached toilet for the convenient. Book an appointment which you will never regret.
Today was the first time I patronize this hair studio and I must say that they’ve gained one happy customer and insyaallah will be a regular one soon. As someone who likes to use Korean hair studios for hairstyling, I’m actually happy with the haircut that I got, which is similar to what hair stylists in Korean hair studios would do to my hair anyway. But what I love even more is the privacy of the place. It is strictly by appointment only. The hair salon also has a super dark curtain to protect the muslimah inside the salon. The hairstylist is also a very friendly lady, I forgot to get her name. She was super approachable from the get go. What I absolutely love (and remember, I used to patronize Korean hair studios) is that she does not hard sell her services or products. Hair stylists in Korean hair studios tend to hard sell their products. I was there for a haircut and she was clear with the pricing. She helped to look for a short haircut that I would like and let me choose it. Only when I told her about possibly dyeing my hair did she then showed me the colour book and explained clearly those that would cover my white hair. While the price may be higher considering the location, it is a private hair salon and so the pricing is absolutely worth it for me. I was so comfortable in the salon, I almost didn’t want to leave. A plus side for me as well is that it’s really near my house. I’m glad I found the place. I know where to go now and didn’t have to travel far too.
