there was a whole group of us standing outside like we were about to revolt against this unprofessional display of service by the 7-11 staff.
end up we all began losing confidence in this staff’s appearance and decided to leave 1 by 1. i mean seriously, i just wanted to get an energy drink – didn’t expect to be draining my energy both physically and mentally just by standing there instead.
all in all, terrible.
open 24/7 for students who stay up late at night to restock their food supply or grab a bite when they are hungry during late night studies or gaming.
I bought a cold food bc i need to eat smth on the go. But the cashier didn’t tell me the microwave isn’t working until after I paid. He didn’t even apologize afterwards, just left the store trying to ignore my annoyed face.
Took $3 25% discounted wrap with other items, checked the receipt and realised cashier charged me original price, when asked, her face be like ‘nah take it bro’, asked for second time, she refunded me 25¢, asked her 3rd time finally she took out calculator and refund me another 50¢, almost being scammed….
Generally ok but one of your staff (Indian lady) working night shift has an attitude problem.
Incident 1 – I wanted to purchase a sandwich. I was standing by the sandwich shelf, holding my sandwich while trying to open my Yuu app. She suddenly called out to me saying “You paying now??”, impatiently rushing me over to the cashier before I was even ready. So I went over to the counter. I set down my sandwich and she immediately scanned it. When I then managed to open my app and showed it to her, she insisted that she couldn’t scan it because she had already scanned my sandwich, and even if she scanned it, I wouldn’t get points. Other staff have reset the purchase for me in order to get the points so I know it’s a simple procedure and she could have clicked a few more buttons to do so. I didn’t insist however, and simply finished my purchase and left with a bad taste in my mouth.
Incident 2 (1 Apr 2023, 7.57pm): I was buying a sandwich, same staff at the counter. I set down my Yuu app before setting down my sandwich. She took my sandwich, scanned it, THEN scanned the Yuu app, resulting in me not getting any points. Furthermore, she had a grumpy face and had no response when I said thanks.
Please teach your staff customer service.
