Awhile ago at about estimately 3 am, I went to block 844 Tampines St 82 7-11 store,
to purchase some food to eat, when I was about to remove the tag to let the cashier scan to pay before i heat up the food, I was greeted by a tap and a rude loud tone from the young allegedly to be Indian male staff, he said loudly and in a harsh tone “HELLO! PAY FIRST!!”..
i was appalled and I told him nicely that he was loud and he shouldn’t have done that to customers who patronized the store, in return he was defensive and he answered by saying loudly again with a stern look at my face by saying “SAY HELLO NOTHING WRONG WHAT”!! then again I told him is the tone that he uses. He should address customers by greeting them as Sir/Madam, and not by shouting.
I end up going off without buying anything as I was so unhappy with the way he treated customer.
He didn’t bother to apologize at all.
I demand an explanation on what is the next course of action that can be taken against such staff and why working in 7-11 store are allowed to wear earrings for a male and is very conspicuous and will give bad impression to all customers.
This is my first and the last going to this particular store.
