25 Dec 2022 update- please ensure both payment counters are open during peak hours. Also pls make sure all self service counters are working. One or two self service counters have been out of service for years. I beg to differ that the staff are courteous; they are however, selectively courteous in certain circumstances maybe.

Old suggestions that Lotus’s doesnt care: 1. This plastic mini shelve, which for internal use, should not be installed strewn across the counter. It prevents the customer from having a proper landing area for goods payment. This also increases the customer’s scanning cycle time. Think from the customer’s perspective please, and remove this plastic away. 2. Cleanliness of self service checkout area- staff should keep an eye on this- sometimes the area looks like a dump- wet, rubbish around. Cleanliness should be a priority too, for customers who like a cleaner place to buy things.

A newly opened Tesco supermarket in this shopping mall replacing Cold Storage hypermarket. More or less the regular stuffs here perhaps much less since it has just started operating. Fresh produce section are surprisingly lackluster with goods not as fresh as they should be here. Prices are a bit lower compared to previous establishment but lack of variety and size of premises make this just another ordinary supermarket. Parking is limited especially on weekends and location of premises on the far left of mall makes it super inconvenient for who have to walk far back to their vehicle. Recommended with reservation as there are many more better options near by.

It is spacious, very easy to move around as compared to other groceries. Doesn’t seems to be very big, most of the stuffs are available, but selection of brands is quite limited. Shaded car park is quite far away, not that convenient for heavy groceries shopping.

  1. Very bad! This is the 3rd time I have come, the price of the item is always not the same as the price of the item when it is scanned at the payment counter. Not 1 item but all the items I bought. When I asked why the price was different, he said “I don’t know that price”?! As a customer, your staff should treat me well. Don’t answer I don’t know. That’s not the answer I want! I already gave the debit payment receipt, but the original receipt from the store to refer to the price of the item was not given! If you think your staff is not interested in working, stop working! I’m not even sorry. I don’t care if it’s your staff’s fault that they’re not careful about this, at least I’m sorry about the price of everything I want to buy is not the same as the price tag on your gondola. I hope the employer takes this matter seriously. When things like this always happen, I as a customer will be too lazy to come to your store next time. The question is why do I want to be angry that the price is not the same? Each individual who comes has a different pocket (money). Some people bring a lot of money and some people bring more money but considering the budget of the price they want to buy. I say this because I used to work in retail. What kind of service have I been through? So there is no reason for you to blame the customer.

  4. If you are here for good service or pleasant conversation, this is not the place for it. This place is when you need stuff on the very last minute, like some school project to be submitted tomorrow, and it’s 11:30 pm at night. You come here just because it is OPEN.
