6 months agoBeen asking around which tyre shop willing to trade-in my old rims for my own new set of rims. Boss was kind enough to accept the deal and i even bought his yokohama advan sport tyres. Recommended to you who are reading comments. ：）3 weeks agoOverly rated tyres shop. Maybe cheap for those fm across the causeway ! There is always hidden charges without informing customer. DO NOT AGREED TO CHANGE PARTS THAT YOU DONT REALLY REQUIRED ! Changed 4 tyres here and felt being cheated by the charges . SERVICE ARE AVERAGE ONLY maybe becos driving Malaysian car.in the last weekLots variety of Wheel and tyre available. Affordable price. Experienced workmanship. Highly recommended ?5 months agoBought 4 ES32 190/50R15 for 740RM, the mechanic guy said included wheel alignment & balancing, but after balancing & fitted to the vehicle, he did not do wheel alignment and I asked why, then the boss questioned me back asking why I needed to adjust wheel alignment, and I said the car always go to the left, & then he kpkb, so in the end, never do alignment. At this point, I don’t really care. The mechanic said my steel valve is old and changed to a new one but it’s rubber, but I did not know that I should be using steel valve for my sport rim cos I’m still new to cars & that 4 rubber valve cost RM40, steel valve way cheaper outside. That’s my fault. Just go to this workshop if you just wanna change tyre only, do not add any add-ons, just say no. Giving 2 stars because the tyre were made from the same year.

5 Replies to 7 Tire Shop Pilihan di Johor Bahru
1) Went to this workshop for my car’s front suspension issues.
2) The mechanic test drove and checked my car thoroughly to find the root cause.
3) He then professionally explained all the 4 main problems one by one with the price. Found that the prices were pricier than other workshops but he told me that they only suggest original parts to customers. This is to prevent any problem with the car in the future.
4) The mechanic left it to me to choose either to replace all the parts at one time or can change parts which are critical first according to my budget.
5) I chose to replace 2 parts first with engine oil change service. Managed to get a little bit discount + free tyre allignment after discussed with him.
6) Overall their work is professional, staff were friendly, well equipped workshop, has a convenient waiting room and of course you have to pay extra for the quality outcome for your car + 6% SST.
7) I’ll definitely give 5 stars if they can reduce more on the prices or can offer other optional parts with lower prices to the customers. Also suggest to give rebates to regular customers.

Action packed place lots of customers at any point in time. Impeccably run and better than many workshops in Singapore.

I WISH I VISIT SUN HUP TYRE EARLIER.
(I have explore and tried more than 5 different tyre workshop in KL, include some of the franchise tyre workshops, none of them delivered the result like sunhup did)
Recently I had replace a set of michelin tyres in one of the well known franchise tyre shop. I spend RM2880 BUT THEY DON’T EVEN BOTHER TO BALANCE AND ALIGN MY TYRES PROPERLY (i don’t know it at that time until Sunhup foreman told me their finding), as soon as I hit 130km/h I can fell the vibration from the seat, steering and area where my foot rest. I guess most workshop just care about making money rather than providing you a quality work. They don’t even bother about our safety.
With friend recommendation, I travel all the way from KL to visit Sun Hup Tyre and their workmanship is by far has given me the best driving experience (smooth drive, stable handling, no more vibration or steering alignment issue even driving at speed)
Their specialist even spend time to explain their work process and why they invest the latest model digital balancing and alignment machines just to ensure all cars they serviced are at the best condition (currently only available at sunhup)
If you are in Johor or Singapore, Don’t hessistate to bring your car to them.
Had a great experience at Sun Hup during my visit to JB a month ago. Replaced my shock absorbers, brake pads, brake discs, and a few others at very good prices. They even provided additional services at low to no cost.
Environment was clean despite there being many cars, and their waiting area was comfy too.
Would definitely visit more often for major repair works!
