Wide range of rims and tyres. Competitive prices.
Price is reasonable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Common tricks from tyre shop, they will suggest to change steel valve and say our camber nut broken and ask to change. You need some knowledge how to see the alignment computer screen 🙂
Total 4 visits:
1st visit: wanted to change two tyres, but the seller said the absorber need to change, finally change 2 tyres and one pair of absorbers
2nd visit: uncomfortable noise from front wheel, gwent back to the same seller to check, they commented that it is due to the front wheels’ mounting problem. My car is Myvi but they recommended to replace with a Alza mounting, claiming that was “better”.
3rd: noise persist, went back and check again. this time they change the absorber for me (under warranty)
4th: noise persist, wentback and check again. they said they can’t detect any problem.
conclusion: this seller is not professional and irresponsible.
p/s: I went to Perodua Service Centre to check, Perodua said the noise was due to the feont wheel mounting, they said the tyre shop should not use Alza mounting, it is not compatible to Myvi.
Best advice on tyres u can get…so many choices of sport rims.. from cars to 4×4…please come and visit…search for Mr. Ah Ka.. or Mr. Kelvin…very polite and friendly person..
This shop sells with reasonable prices. My experience in this shop when changing tyre was not really good & just wanted the process to complete faster. While the process of changing Tyre, a guy (chinese) came & tell me the absorber is leaking [which I do aware & surveying for best deal]. Then I asked for the price, he gave me a price which not make sense & higher than what i survey from the parts shops. This guy was keep pushing me to replace it even though told him upfront that I’m out of budget. Secondly, while checking the tyre alignment, this guy said both steering rack joint need to be replaced as it is loosened already ? & keep telling he can’t do the alignment because it is not giving the accuracy of alignment due to the joint is loose.
It is good to let the customers know on the issues but you guys need to understand the financial/budget of the customer ?. I have took the risk of going to this shop despite many low rating provided by the customers in the past due to the choices in that shop but not really keen to go this shop anymore because of the recent experience I had that day ?.
In terms of workmanship this guys are good but be careful of their additional offerings from what supposed to do. Overall tyre quality is good & therefore giving rate of 2 for the entire experience in this shop.
