We chatted with Chan about a day trip to Kanchanaburi that concentrated only on the historical sites of the area; the War Cemetery, River Kwai Bridge, Death Railway, Jeath War Museum and the Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre and Memorial Walking Trail. We also wanted a local guide in Kanchanaburi. Chan set about making a few phone calls to build our personal itinerary. We ended up with a private driver, Lek, and a local guide, Ricky. Ricky was very knowledgeable about the history of the railway and the sites we visited. Chan’s customer service was excellent and she made sure that we did everything we wanted to and was in touch by text to check that it went well.
