On The Corner offers great value for money. I ate here twice on my latest trip to Phnom Penh.

During my first visit, I chose the salade nicoise, which was very nice. Big plus for the anchovies and baguette, small minus for not having olives.

During my second visit, I had the cordon bleu, which came with mashed potatoes. Both the cordon bleu and mash were excellent! I added green pepper sauce as an extra to make it perfect.

I will definitely eat here again when I visit Phnom Penh next time.

Excellent jin joon trey (fish with ginger and soybean). Excellent location and service. Only one thing : we ordered stir fried squid but got shrimp. I’ve lived in the region long enough to know that this happens a lot, but we wouldn’t have ordered the shrimp, we wanted squid, so we were still minimally frustrated. The jin joon was homestyle and excellent.

I have only tried the duck and it was excellent. For some reason you feel like this is a restaurant you can trust more than others around. Have a less commercial touristy feel, and clearly has repeat customers of expats too. The owner was not friendly, or at least avoided talking to me when I was trying to start a conversation.

This one has become one of my favorite repeat places to eat on the Riverside area. Lots of menu choices and food quality really good. Service was quick and friendly and I liked having an outdoor table out front. I found it interesting that the chicken tacos here at this French/Khmer themed restaurant in Cambodia were some of the better ones I’ve had.
