3 months agoThe Aristocrat along Roxas Boulevard is an institution in Manila’s culinary landscape. Known for its rich history and sumptuous Filipino cuisine, this restaurant offers a dining experience like no other. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a welcoming ambiance that evokes a sense of nostalgia, as though stepping back in time. The food is the star of the show, serving dishes that bring you on a flavorful journey across the archipelago. Their signature Chicken Barbecue is a must-try, perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection. And don’t even get me started on their Kare-Kare; it’s simply divine.
Service is top-notch. Staff are attentive without being intrusive, making sure your dining experience is seamless from start to finish. Plus, their location overlooking Manila Bay offers a mesmerizing view, particularly during sunset.
Whether you’re a local looking for an authentic Filipino meal or a tourist eager to explore Manila’s culinary heritage, The Aristocrat will not disappoint. It’s more than just a meal; it’s an experience that celebrates the very essence of Filipino culture. Highly recommended!
in the last weekAristocrat Restaurant is a byword for every balikbayan as soon as they landed in Manila. It is the home of authentic Filipino cuisine famous for its Chicken Barbeque with peanut sauce. An added treat for dessert is the Torta De Los Reyes cake, irresistibly delicious available at the bakeshop. The service is slow, servers are not pleasant. Dining area set-up is not modernized. The food is great but service needs to improve.2 months agoIt was a fun and enjoyable place to eat our lunch. 24/7 place and so busy. If you have enough food, you could have pastry from their bakery. We had a party of 10 and two sets of family lunch including beef, vegetable and fish soups, many main dishes of pork, chicken, fish and a shrimp noodle with vegetables. Plus four bottles of Pepsi and two big bowls of rice. Lots of take out for dinner tonight!5 months agoMade a decision to have a brunch here today and was not disappointed.. Staff were welcoming and nice.. After our order was taken we were given an estimate of how long it will be served (20-30 mins). Their hot and thick chocolate was heavenly?. Portions were big too and tasted so good with everything we ordered.Totally enjoyed and had a grand time here at Aristocrat!!
Bought a box of cream pop for desserts too at their bakeshop. ?
2 months agoThe food here at The Aristocrat is good and has a nice service with the staffs. This branch is the Main Branch of all the The Aristocrats Restaurants that opened all over the Metro Manila Area. I liked also the Carrot Cake from their Bakeshop, it’s not too sweet and it is only right for my taste buds. 🙂

Top Budget-Friendly Restaurant Alternatives in Manila
Manila, the bustling capital of the Philippines, is known for its vibrant food scene. While there are plenty of high-end restaurants to choose from, budget-conscious food enthusiasts can also find great options that offer delicious meals without breaking the bank. Here are three top budget-friendly restaurant alternatives in Manila:
1. Food Courts in Malls: Manila is home to numerous malls, and most of them have food courts that offer a wide variety of affordable meals. These food courts are usually located on the lower levels of the malls and feature stalls or kiosks selling different types of cuisine. From local favorites like adobo and sinigang to international dishes like sushi and pasta, food courts have something for everyone. Prices in food courts are generally lower compared to standalone restaurants, making them a great choice for budget-conscious diners. Some popular mall food courts in Manila include SM Megamall, Greenbelt, and Glorietta.
2. Street Food Stalls: Manila is known for its vibrant street food scene, with numerous stalls and vendors scattered across the city. From skewered meats like isaw (chicken intestines) and betamax (coagulated pig’s blood), to popular snacks like fish balls and kwek-kwek (deep-fried quail eggs), street food stalls offer a taste of authentic Filipino flavors at a fraction of the price. These stalls are usually found in busy areas like night markets and near universities. While street food is generally safe to eat, it’s always a good idea to pick stalls that have a high turnover of customers, as this ensures that the food is fresh and hot.
3. Hole-in-the-Wall Restaurants: Another popular option for budget-friendly dining in Manila is hole-in-the-wall restaurants. These are small, independent eateries that offer unique and delicious dishes at affordable prices. What they lack in size and ambiance, they make up for in flavor. Hole-in-the-wall restaurants can be found in various neighborhoods across Manila, and they often specialize in specific types of cuisine or dishes. Some notable hole-in-the-wall restaurants in Manila include El Chupacabra in Poblacion, which serves delicious Mexican fare, and Breakfast Bin in Quezon City, which offers affordable all-day breakfast options.
Summary: Manila offers a range of budget-friendly restaurant alternatives that cater to different tastes and preferences. Whether it’s the convenience and variety of food courts in malls, the authentic flavors of street food stalls, or the unique dining experience of hole-in-the-wall restaurants, budget-conscious food enthusiasts in Manila can enjoy delicious meals without breaking the bank.
