2 weeks agoIf you are looking for a tasty lechon – this is a go-to place. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a nice table. We ordered half a kilo of non spicy and the scallops. A must visit for every locals and tourists who wants to try and enjoy Cebuano’s best served delicacies.a week agoA must when in Cebu. This place served a delicious food . I highly recommend you come here lunch time, if you are here like me around 3pm, their lechon will be mostly out and the skin won’t be that crispy. Pleasant service, friendly , most attentive. Since, it was only me. I ordered 1/8 kg of spicy lechon, jackfruit salad and cup of rice. Don’t try leaving without trying the special halo halo. Highly recommended. I will be backa week agoI had so many locals recommend me the House of Lechon! When I went, there were maybe 30+ pax waiting in line and the restaurant was PACKED! It was noisy, the tables are so close side-by-side and the waiters are too slow to respond. Food was not as good as expected. Lechon was a bit chewy and greasy. If you want to try some local food, this place seems to be it… but the service, ambience, and food was really lagging.2 months agoThe lechon here is quite delicious, for 2 people I would order at least a 1/2lb serving. The lechon was still being served when we arrived at 8pm. When we left the restaurant at 9pm, the lechon was still available.Found the fish sinagang a bit too sour. Wouldn’t recommend.
The tuna belly was very tasty.
There can be a short wait depending on the size of your group. It’s worth it. Enjoy!
5 months agoEverything we ordered was very good! Food was seasoned well and very presentable. We were lucky to get the last serving of lechon when we got there at 6.30pm. We ordered the Special Carcar lechon, Kinilaw Fiesta Cebuana, Lechon Sisig, Utan Bisaya na may Pasayan, Baked Scallops (it’s so good we ordered 2 servings). We ate everything to think there was only 3 of us ? We would’ve ordered more if we weren’t too full. So much good food to choose from. Staff were attentive and patient. Nice ambience. This place is highly recommended.

8 months agoBLUF: Dingy hotel lobby. Basic Filipino food. Adequate service. PRO: The squid adobo was nice. Otherwise nothing special. CON: Outdated, worn hotel lobby. Very few customers.a year agoThe venue is located in the city center of Cebu City (Capitol Site area). The menu is mainly based on fish, seafood and vegetables. Other options are also available. The place is clean and suitable for spending a good and relaxing time alone or with friends/family. Finally, the personnel is friendly and available for any kind of suggestions about the food to be ordered. ?a year agoKinda lives up to its name. ✌️ I did find some of the food too salty for my taste.Kinalaw na Tangigue had all the spices of a good kinilaw, but I could only eat a few because of its saltiness. The scallops were so tender but the butter cheese topping was too salty, I scraped most of the sauce off the meat. The seafood was really fresh. Maybe next time, I could ask the chef to make them less salty.
Also ordered Ginataang Kalabasa & sitaw, Bam-i and Calamares, which were good!
Price is affordable with good amount of serving.
They have tables indoors and al fresco.
a year agoThe place is a bit old, amd the design is dated. Location is a bit hidden, unless you are staying in their hostel or any neighboring hostel. other than that I think it will be unlikely you will find this place. The main highlight for me in this place is their food. It is crazy delicious! You would not expect it to be as fresh and as savory because of the price and the location.
Definitely a must try if you are around the area.
5 years agoIt has a lot to offer. Wide ranges of asian foods to choose from. The best part of this resto is the service and taste. The owners are very friendly. Staffs are great. Awesome food with no other special preservatives added. Just the basic, that’s why they name the store ‘SALT’ Truly a TASTE OF HOME!
