The curry was amazing. Thick, flavourful gravy. The noodles was quite plain…there’s wasn’t much taste to eat..so need to eat with chilli padi/soya sauce.

Dumpling was also flavourful..and the most over-price dish was the fries with parmesan cheese. Although the fries is fries upon order cause when we received it, it was super hot and crispy, it still the most overpriced dish ever. I won’t recommend people for this fries dish.

But do try their dumpling and claypot curry…it’s hot, juicy and flavourful.

Ordered the Ayam Penyet ($12.50) and the tomato is sad one little cherry tomato with cabbage ends. The crackers are not crunchy (too soft) anymore, the soup isn’t even warm.

For the price of the dish, it’s not really value for money, I didn’t know until I saw the food. Would not recommend to dine, going to other places would definitely be more worth.

I’ve also ordered the dry wanton noodles with stingy sauce and overcooked noodles. It’s just really sad when you’re hungry and the food is like that.

I always come to this restaurant whenever i come to IMM because of the great service rendered by all the staffs especially Ms Syahirah as she is very patient and friendly, she even informed me about the new membership sign up which allow me and my mom to redeem nice free drinks, she even offered a complimentary dessert for my mom because its her birthday month. I would also like to thanks Ms Chu for her great effort for coming to our table and send her birthday blessing to my mom! The food & beverage are very tasty, fresh and pipping hot! Overall experience is excellent, wonderful and amazing! You will never regret coming!

Thank you all for your great effort and service!

Kind regards, Mdm Lim & Vivian Tse

The standard of the food has dropped tremendously. Portion is much smaller than before. Less than 20 pieces of skinny small fishy silverfish costs $9.50. Pumpkin fries quality has dropped, no longer as yummy as before. It’s too wet to be even called fries.

The place is a little hard to reach, but the atmosphere is really good for evening with family and friends.

It’s pricey, but to be expected due to the location. Quality of the food is excellent – we ordered the Ikan Pepes, egg omelette and beef rendang, among others.

Will come again for special occasions.

Feels exactly like you’re in Bali! This is a family-run restaurant that serves up no-frills Indonesian fare. Even though the dishes are pricey (each is about $25-$30), the portions and taste make up for it! Especially loved their squid, which wasn’t over cooked and flavoured so well. Make sure to get their yellow rice, which is made with turmeric and a bunch of other spices which makes the rice such a fragrant combo with the dishes. The decor has traditional Bali elements and is so lovely. Will come again.

Beautifully decorated restaurant, makes you feel like you’re in Bali. Excellent food, must try the chicken sate and otah fish. Beef rendang is slightly tough. Unfortunately the restaurant is seriously understaffed but the waiter really did his best. Do not attempt to make ‘big business’ in their toilet, the flushing system is weak.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cumi Bali Restaurant at Tras Street ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had an amazing experience at Cumi Bali Restaurant, where they serve authentic Bali and Indonesian cuisine. The beef fried rice was absolutely delicious, and the Oxtail soup was a perfection! The Sambal Belanchan had just the right level of spiciness to tantalize my taste buds. The ambience was delightful, with traditional Indonesian gamelan instruments playing in the background, creating a wonderful dining atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for a delightful taste of Indonesian flavors! ?️???

The yellow rice was fragrant and done to right consistency. Cumi was only great dish- grilled to perfection and still tender, though the flavour was not really outstanding. Sambal petai was good. Beef rending was not lemak and no richness in flavor, and somewhat watery too. Chicken satay was too salty, overpowered other spices and flavour. Have to order sambal, which was nicely done with kick of spice, a necessity for the lack lustre dishes. Chendol for dessert ordinary. Had high expectations for this restaurant but sadly let down.
