Came here during evening as it has the highest review and decent rating in google among Brunei Cafe. Chilling and quiet environment with friendly staff.

Ordered Hezulnut Latte (Cold) and Banana Peanut Waffles (Both recommended on the menu list)

The drink taste great, but the waffle was just soso below expectation. The waffle was like chewing pure bread unlike usual just-ready-made waffle with abit of crunchy-feeling and it doesn’t suit well together with peanut and banana. Hopefully the chef can make some changes on the ingredient and texture of the waffle. Keep it up!

Really good cafe, spacious and relaxing. Love all of the dishes I have tried. Signature Nasi lemak is really remarkable, the Sambal was tasty. The staffs are friendly ?.

Pricey but that’s what you will pay for a cafe experience.

Would recommend try out this restaurant.

Had a wonderful experience dining at your restaurant. The waiters were devoted in providing excellent service. I really enjoyed the ambience, and your modern aesthetic interior is great. Most importantly, the food and beverages listed in your menu that my friends and I tried were fantastic. Onde-onde Latte must try !

Facing the river but cannot see the river. Nice, relaxing music and quiet Friday morning. Having pan cake with ice coffee latte and western set breakfast with black coffee = BND20. The only problem is Limited parking in town. Overall, it’s good, personally chances of second visit is very slim due to parkings issue.

For many years, Starbucks has been a reference. In Brunei, it is not different. Due to small population and culture, none rushes and options are limited. The coffee shop become a place to enjoy its regular drinks/food and read or work, or just have a chat. Staff is less proactive, as in Europe or USA; it is more the slow motion mode. Regular place during the weekend.

The best coffee. Enough tables are available for all guests. This place is crowded you should make a reservation for a large group. Good view while enjoying the best coffee. They have diffrent types of coffee. They offer free wifi, slow but good enough for messaging apps. I like the design of this place. I highly recommend this place.

Good ambience and reasonable deal for breakfast set at BND7 for plain coffee/tea and selection of pastry from the deli…however they are only open at 8am which is not convenient for those wanting to grab a decent cup of coffee before work which typically starts around 745 to 8am. Will be great if they are open at 630am.

Tasty coffee, friendly service, comfortable space and free WiFi. However, I asked for my coffee in a mug to avoid packaging and was frustratingly served it in a throwaway paper cup! Ceramic cups/mugs should be the default to reduce environmental impact; Starbucks as a global heavyweight should be a positive role model.

Top Coffee Shop Alternatives in Bandar Seri Begawan

Kopi, also known as Nanyang coffee, is a traditional coffee beverage found in several Maritime Southeast Asian nations. Often brewed to be highly caffeinated in strength, it is commonly served with sugar and/or milk-based condiments. This drink originated from the British Malaya era, with Hainanese cultural roots. The name of the drink is derived from the Malay term for coffee. The term Nanyang, which means "South Sea" in Mandarin, refers to Maritime Southeast Asia. Kopi culture vocabulary is grounded in Hokkien dialect as a result of historical immigration to Maritime Southeast Asia from the Minnan region in the south-eastern part of Fujian Province in Southeastern Mainland China. The beverage is usually served in coffee shops, Hawker centres and kopitiams across the region. In Singapore, kopi is recognized as culturally significant and part of the everyday diet and lifestyle of many Singaporeans. It is habitual for Singaporeans of all ethnicities and ages to customize their Kopi using the Hokkien dialect. The Singapore coffee is distinct from other types of coffee due to its roasting process and preparation technique involving a variation of the Torrefacto method. Coffee consumption thus offers a medium for performing an ambivalent (g)local version of what it means to be a Singaporean. Concerns over the elevation of diabetes cases, have caused the creation of government-led nationwide campaigns in Singapore to reduce sugar intake, especially with regard to sweet drinks or drinks that add sugar such as Kopi O. This has the potential to affect the consumption of Kopi O. The significance of Kopi in Singapore's culture can be found in greater detail in Singapore's only Kopi museum.Kopi is also a popular drink in Brunei, Malaysia, and Southern Thailand. Tenom in the East Malaysian state of Sabah is a major regional producer of coffee beans, which is used to brew kopi.
