Absolutely love the coffee here! A small minimalistic coffee shop located on the sides of the building complexes. It gets busy during lunch time and seats are difficult to get if you want to dine in (about less than 10 seatings inside). Staffs were incredibly friendly and service was quick.

The coffee is strong and has a hint of acidity. I ordered the Hazelnut latte and it wasn’t overpoweringly sweet. They also have some cakes from Mr Bakers which I love! Will definitely come back to get my coffee fix.

Also really in love with the Strawberry Chocolate (non coffee option). It was super good! Not overly sweet either. Will definitely order this again.

Stopped over after lunch at this small cafe to take away our coffee fix. Place was crowded with people queuing for their order. Couldnot believe they don’t do hot flatwhite (they only do cold one – although it’s clearly stated on the menu!) Our orders took almost 30min to arrive for four normal coffee. Taste of coffee is a bit on weaker side for my palette. They don’t even have skimmed milk. The pastries look nice but only tasted the chocolate rolls, which is okay okay.

Not sure if I would visit the cafe again.

The service is super slow. Even though the pastries are already pre-made and all they needed was to pack it up. They had to make us wait for 10+ minutes to get our order ready for takeaway.

Interior design that is minimalist and stands out in contrast to the Universal Cafe.

The aromatic sweet coffee blend and bitter taste characterize the latte I ordered. The iced chocolate has a pleasant flavor that helps to quench my thirst on hot day.

Thinking Cup provided non-caffeinated and caffeinated beverages, as well as collaboration with a few small company bakers and KYNA ice cream.

Stay up to date on their Instagram for updates on their pastries and drinks.

Top Coffee Shop Alternatives in Seria

Kopi, also known as Nanyang coffee, is a traditional coffee beverage found in several Maritime Southeast Asian nations. Often brewed to be highly caffeinated in strength, it is commonly served with sugar and/or milk-based condiments. This drink originated from the British Malaya era, with Hainanese cultural roots. The name of the drink is derived from the Malay term for coffee. The term Nanyang, which means "South Sea" in Mandarin, refers to Maritime Southeast Asia. Kopi culture vocabulary is grounded in Hokkien dialect as a result of historical immigration to Maritime Southeast Asia from the Minnan region in the south-eastern part of Fujian Province in Southeastern Mainland China. The beverage is usually served in coffee shops, Hawker centres and kopitiams across the region. In Singapore, kopi is recognized as culturally significant and part of the everyday diet and lifestyle of many Singaporeans. It is habitual for Singaporeans of all ethnicities and ages to customize their Kopi using the Hokkien dialect. The Singapore coffee is distinct from other types of coffee due to its roasting process and preparation technique involving a variation of the Torrefacto method. Coffee consumption thus offers a medium for performing an ambivalent (g)local version of what it means to be a Singaporean. Concerns over the elevation of diabetes cases, have caused the creation of government-led nationwide campaigns in Singapore to reduce sugar intake, especially with regard to sweet drinks or drinks that add sugar such as Kopi O. This has the potential to affect the consumption of Kopi O. The significance of Kopi in Singapore's culture can be found in greater detail in Singapore's only Kopi museum.Kopi is also a popular drink in Brunei, Malaysia, and Southern Thailand. Tenom in the East Malaysian state of Sabah is a major regional producer of coffee beans, which is used to brew kopi.
