Arguably the best cafe with wide beverage choices with nice coffee and many quick bite menu in Mandalay. Especially, coffee is great and has never disappointed me so far. Mushroom soup was rather disappointing, though.

They have good and simple Western breakfast menu as wells Asian one including: Vietnam spring roll, Korean rice salad. Club sandwich was OK.

It’s on the 2nd floor, no elevater access but only quite stiff stairs.

Amazing and spacious cafe to enjoy a variety of coffee, shakes, juices, appetizers, and main courses. Nice quiet spot for a book and plenty of outlets around the cafe. Everything I had was great! Very reasonable. Highly recommended

I have been here over an year ago – and I still feel like this is my coffee place in Mandalay. I just loved being there from the moment I entered – great vibe. Was my place to chill, enjoy time with friends, read a book or work on the laptop. The people serving are very friendly and attentive; the interior is minimalist and hipster-like. Wooden furniture & plants give it somewhat a natural ambient touch to it. If I ever go back to Mandalay, I’ll definitely wanna come back here.

If you love plants and coffee, this is the perfect place for you! I was here twice during my two-day visit to Mandalay in february and I had wonderful experiences both times. Great coffee and great cakes! (My favorite was the chocolate crepe cake) Also, the porcelain-covered metal tea cups from this cafe reminded me of my childhood. I really recommend this place!

The view from this cafe is beautiful as it is located opposite to the moat. The decoration with the indoor plant is so beautiful and refresh. Food and drinks also good.

Good place to hang out, right besides the palace walls. Cute ambience, good coffee, servers hardly understand any English, so requires some effort to order.

Burmese cuisine encompasses the diverse regional culinary traditions of Myanmar, which have developed through longstanding agricultural practices, centuries of sociopolitical and economic change, and cross-cultural contact and trade with neighboring countries at the confluence of South Asia, Southeast Asia, and East Asia, including the modern-day nations of India, China, and Thailand.
Burmese cuisine is typified by a wide-ranging array of dishes, including traditional Burmese curries, Burmese salads, and soups that are traditionally eaten with white rice. Burmese cuisine also features Indian breads as well as noodles in many forms, as fried or dry noodles, noodle soups, or as noodle salads. Street food culture has also nurtured the profuse variety of traditional Burmese fritters and traditional snacks called mont.
The contrasting flavor profile of Burmese cuisine is broadly captured in the phrase chin ngan sat (ချဉ်ငန်စပ်), which literally means "sour, salty, and spicy." A popular Burmese rhyme — "of all the fruit, the mango's the best; of all the meat, the pork's the best; and of all the leaves, lahpet's the best" — sums up the traditional favourites.
